George Figgs

George Figgs worked as an actor in many of the early John Waters comedies, then went into the film business as a dailies projectionist, working with such people as Sven Nykvist, Jodie Foster, Terry Gilliam, and others. He also owned and operated the Orpheum Cinema in the Fell's Point section of Baltimore City from 1991 to 1999. Figgs is also an expert of the film noir genre of filmmaking. See full bio »
