Amazing Grace -- The idealist William Wilberforce maneuvers his way through Parliament in 19th century England, endeavoring to end the British transatlantic slave trade. Marie Galante -- Marie is kidnapped and taken aboard ship, then thrown off at Yucatan. She winds up singing in a cafe in the Panama Canal zone.
