DriveClub To Get Free Dlc Today, Adds Five New Japan Tracks

Much digital ink has been spilled about DriveClub‘s tumultuous launch, but one element that you can’t fault Evolution Studios for is the company’s approach to downloadable content.

Though the racing simulator does contain premium updates that include new-fangled cars and events, Evolution has ensured that all race tracks released post-launch are free of charge. And so, the latest content pack to arrive for DriveClub releases today and is set to introduce racers to a new-fangled multiplayer time trail event, along with improvements to the in-game weather systems.

Weighing in at 3.3Gb, the headlining feature of the update is the set of new race tracks, which takes the high-octane action to Japan. Specifically, those new locales will encompass Nakasendo, Lake Shoji, Takahagi Hills, Asagiri Highlands Racetrack and Goshodaira.
