He acted in Paul Osborn's play, "Morning's At Seven," at the Westminster Theatre in London, England with Teresa Wright, Margaret Tyzack, Doreen Mantle, Peter Jones, John Church, Andree Melly, Faith Brook, and Alan MacNaughtan in the cast. Vivian Matalon was director.

Married twice. He had two daughters, Chrissie and Susannah, from his first marriage, and two daughters, Samantha and Georgina, from his second. He met his second wife, Miranda, a dancer/choreographer, in London while performing in a 1969 production of "Promises, Promises" (she was a lead dancer). She survives him.
