Latest Amityville: The Awakening poster features Bella Thorne front and center

This year’s fourteenth installment in the long-running Amityville Horror series, titled Amityville: The Awakening, has just received a brand new one-sheet (via Rama’s Screen). This poster comes only a couple of weeks after the film’s first trailer and Instagram-influenced poster hit the web, which reminded moviegoers that the release of the much-delayed project was still on the horizon. Star Bella Thorne is featured alongside the infamous supernatural house in the poster below…

Belle, her little sister, and her comatose twin brother move into a new house with their single mother, Joan, in order to save money to help pay for her brother’s expensive healthcare. But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house, including the miraculous recovery of her brother, Belle begins to suspect her mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.

You Can Peer into the Darkness with this Trailer for Havenhurst

Havenhurst is a co-production from Protocol Entertainment and Twisted Pictures. This horror title, from director Andrew C. Erin, takes place in a strange apartment building. Here, residents succumb to dark forces. The film stars Julie Benz, Danielle Harris and Josh Stamberg. The film's first trailer is hosted here. The trailer is slightly dark. In the clip, a woman checks out of rehab and she checks into a mysterious locale. A manager has her own plans for Jackie (Benz). And, all of the exits are dead ends. A release date for the film has not been confirmed. With the film now complete, fans will not have to wait much longer as the film searches for a distributor. More details on Havenhurst are below. Amityville: The Awakening Wants You to Like Its New Post-er

Wow, that was a cheesy headline, huh? I do what I can folks. I do what I can. You’ve probably known that there has been a new Amityville film coming down the pike. The trailer was released back in August of 2014 with an expected January 2, 2015 release. That date went by and we heard nothing. If you need a refresher, check out the trailer along with the poster below.

There’s no doubt that there are still fans of the franchise and the involvement of director Franck Khalfoun, who filmed Amityville: The Awakening after coming off the Maniac remake with Elijah Wood, might perk up some eyeballs. In addition, Blumhouse is involved in this new entry which is probably why it has shown up on some lists of anticipated horror films for 2016. Cmg heads to Efm with 'Havenhurst', 'The Possession Experiment'

Exclusive: Edward Noeltner’s Cinema Management Group has added a pair of horror-thrillers to its international sales slate in Berlin.

The pair of films hail from Blue Fox Entertainment and include Havenhurst (pictured) directed by Andrew C Erin and starring Julie Benz, Fionnula Flanagan and Belle Shouse.

Erin and Daniel Farrands wrote the story about a guilt-ridden young mother who checks out of rehab into a swanky apartment complex run by a sadistic manager.

There she is drawn into the mysteries of Havenhurst, in particular the unsolved disappearance of the apartment’s previous occupant and the dark forces that lurk within.

Jina Panebianco, Tosca Musk and Erin produce the Twisted Pictures presentation of a Protocol Entertainment and Rma Media Partners film in association with Blue Fox Entertainment. Mark Burg and Wesley Sierk serve as executive producers.
