Mother of Alexandra Marzo (b.September 26th 1968) with Claudio Marzo and João (b.April 1st 1975) with Daniel Filho.
In 1995, she had a public argument with Sonia Braga because of the movie Tieta do Agreste (1996). Faria starred in the title role in the TV-series Tieta (1989) in 1990, and would like to play it again in the cinema, but the rights for the screenplay of the book of Jorge Amado had been bought by Sonia Braga, who starred as "Tieta" on the big screen.
