Exclusive: Official Response From Producer About Status of 'Dredd 2'

A few days ago, the internet was ablaze- well, at least the portion of the internet used by the small, rabid fan base of Dredd- with word that a certain sequel was in development. See, actor Karl Urban was speaking at Denver Comic Con, and he apparently made a few comments pertaining to Dredd 2 being in some stage of development. He said he would definitely come back for it if he felt the project had "depth and substance," according to website Science Fiction.

It didn't do so hot in wide release, but had stellar numbers once it was released for home distribution. Murmurs of a sequel have popped up before, and the latest chatter included the idea that it could come to a streaming service like Netflix- »

Garth Ennis and Carlos Ezquerra’s Bloody Mary finds new home at Image Comics

13 February 2016 9:00 PM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Garth Ennis and Carlos Ezquerra’s Bloody Mary, the action-packed tale of future warfare and a heroine whose faith lies firmly in firepower, is returning to print this March courtesy of Image Comics.

“It’s fantastic to see Bloody Mary back in print in this new edition from Image, said Ennis. “About time, really, Mary’s been missing in action for far too long.”

Ezquerra added: “Mary Malone is one of my best loved comic characters.”

Bloody Mary is set in a world only slightly worse than our own, a third great European conflict has dragged the major powers into a lethal war of attrition. Now, Mary Malone, the most dangerous assassin in a land of killers, must face both a man who cannot die and a crazed cult leader whose flock are all too ready to die for him.

Bloody Mary hits comic book stores on Wednesday March 9th and bookstores on March 15th. »
