Blue Bloods Review: "Re-Do"

Tonight’s installment of Blue Bloods had me on the edge of my seat. “Re-Do” was one of the most dramatic episodes of the show we’ve seen so far.
Dick Reed was a suitably menacing serial rapist/murderer. Kudos to the actor.
He really sold the evil persona. One of my favorite scenes was when he got off the prison bus and was greeted by groupies. I can only imagine the type of people who worship violent criminals but I’m sure they exist. It’s a strange world.
I’ve read that Jennifer Esposito who plays Jackie is now a regular cast member and I’m thrilled. Danny and Jackie have some great chemistry and I’ll be happy to watch these two banter over cases for the rest of the season.
Although they made it too obvious that Reed was going after Erin at the end, the scene was still suspenseful. »

Claire Danes is returning to series TV with Showtime's pilot "Homeland," where she'll play a CIA officer investigating the mysterious return of a U.S. soldier after seven years in Iraq. It would be her first series since "My So-Called Life" in the mid-'90s; she won an Emmy this year for HBO's movie "Temple Grandin." [Showtime]
"Damages" will begin its fourth season in the summer -- although there's no exact premiere date yet -- at its new home on DirecTV. The first three seasons will start running on the satellite service on Jan. 5. [DirecTV]

The best scene in “Brothers” takes place when Danny, Jamie, grandpa Henry and Frank are sitting around over beers, talking about grandpa’s black jack slapper. It’s an unauthorized weapon.
For those who didn't see it, it’s about eight inches of steel covered in leather and can be used to gain the upper hand in close fighting. When Jamie turns it down, Danny mocks his brother, but Frank chimes in that he never used one. Danny responds: “You're 6’4” and you’ve got hands of stone.” I just had to laugh. Tom Selleck really does tower over the rest of this cast.
When Jamie finds Joe’s iPod, was I the only one who was surprised that it started right up?

Syfy is no stranger to cross promotion. Halloween night usually sees Ghost Hunters Halloween Live with a special guest from another of the stations shows. This year it was Allison Scagliotti from Warehouse 13 and long with other cast members from the Ghost Hunters franchise.
Now WWE Smackdown star Edge (Aka Adam Copeland) is joining the cast of Sanctuary as Thelo, an Abnormal that will be integral to the season finale. Previously Edge had a small appearance in Highlander: End Game and just recently finished filming the feature film Bending the Rules in New Orleans alongside Jamie Kennedy, Jennifer Esposito, Alicia Witt and Jessica Walter.
Sanctuary airs Friday night at 10Pm (Et/Pt), immediately following its tag team partner Friday Night SmackDown at 8Pm (Et/Pt). »

The DVD is due out on Sept 7. His "Killers" costars Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl talk in this exclusive "Zap2it First" video about working with the legendary actor in their rom-com action flick.

Adam Edge Copeland joins Bending the RulesVariety reports that Adam "Edge" Copeland, Jamie Kennedy, Jennifer Esposito, Alicia Witt, Philip Baker Hall, and Jessica Walter are going to star in World Wrestling Entertainment's Bending the Rules.
Samuel Goldwyn Films is going to distribute the film.
The film follows Kennedy's character, a district attorney that is hellbent on taking down a double-dealing New Orleans police detective (Copeland).

WWE Studios has begun production on Bending the Rules, a drama that allows Jamie Kennedy to go mano a mano with WWE ring star Adam "Edge" Copeland. Kennedy plays a district attorney who's trying to bring down a rogue New Orleans police detective (Copeland) on corruption charges. One the day the Da loses his case, his prized possession, a 1956 Studebaker Goldenhawk gets swiped and complications ensue as the lawyer tries to get his car back. Jessica Walter, Jennifer Esposito, Alicia Witt and Phillip Baker Hall round out the cast. Saving Grace exec producer Artie Mandelberg directs a script by Dylan Schaffer. This is the latest in a series of eight films that Vince McMahon's WWE is financing and shooting in quick succession. On last night’s Burn Notice, we presumably said goodbye to Navi Rawat’s Kendra, an assassin who finally got truly interesting when she repeatedly beat her own head on the desk during Michael and Jesse’s interrogation to prove she wasn’t going to break. The shot of her smirking as the blood oozed from the wound — more memorable than any scene that involved Moon Bloodgood’s Miami Pd detective in season 3. Hold off on checking the wedding registry, Hollywood couple Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper are not engaged! People has confirmed with reps of the two stars that they have no plans to marry.

Diane was hosting one of her usual evening shindigs in honor of her French filmmaker friend, Danièle Thompson’s most recent movie, Change of Plans, when the fire alarm went off.
