Edith Erastoff was born on April 8, 1887 in Helsinki, Finland as Edith Alma Frederika Lundberg. She was an actress, known for The Outlaw and His Wife (1918), Terje Vigen (1917) and Johan Ulfstjerna (1936). She was married to Victor Sjöström and Georg Erastoff. She died on April 17, 1945 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Trivia (3)

She and Victor Sjöström were lovers on and off-screen. She was pregnant, with his daughter while they were filming The Outlaw and His Wife (1918). They married in 1922, after having to wait 5 years for her divorce.
Her father was the organist Ludv. Malinovski of Polish origin. Her mother's maiden name was Lundberg.
Had two daughters with film director Victor Sjöström: actress Guje Lagerwall (born 13 January 1918) and Caje Bjerke (born 31 August 1919).
