The news comes just over two months after World War Z director Marc Forster backed away from the sequel, for unknown reasons. Brad Pitt is reprising his role as U.N. employee Gerry Lane from the summer blockbuster, which took in over $200 million domestically and more than $540 million worldwide. No writers are attached to the sequel yet, although Juan Antonio Bayona, will supervise the writing process. The director was on a very short list of contenders just a few weeks back before landing the job.
It's also worth noting that writer Sergio G. Sánchez has written both of Juan Antonio Bayona's films, The Orphanage and last year's The Impossible. Whether or not he'll work on the script for this sequel is unclear at this point.
Paramount and Skydance Pictures have found a director for World War Z in Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible, The Orphanage), reports Variety. Brad Pitt is expected to reprise his role as Gerry Lane in the film which he will also produce alongside Skydance's David Ellison. There are no scribes on board the sequel at this time, and it's not known whether Mireille Enos will return as Gerry's wife Karin either, though its highly possible. World War Z »
The Killing’s Mireille Enos made the transition to the big screen, but roles such as in World War Z and Gangster Squad relegated her to a motherly/wife position. Finally, the actress is getting her shot at being a bad ass in the new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Sabatoge as a member of an elite DEA task force. Watch the new preview.
Actress Mireille Enos is finally getting her hands dirty with a juicy role in Sabotage, surrounded by the manliest of men such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello and Josh Holloway. Lucky girl, but judging by the trailer, she may be out of luck when the drug cartel come after her and her DEA task force after they rob a drug cartel safe house. She’s clearly in on the action from the preview so hopefully she makes

First things first, Arnold Schwarzenegger has a side part in this movie. He looks just like Pete Campbell. Sabotage stars Schwarzenegger as the head of the DEA, who’s in charge of a pretty star-studded crew, including Terrence Howard, Sam Worthington, and Mireille Enos. Someone stole money from the cartel, so Arnie needs to figure out whom, while also battling drug dealers. It comes out on April 11. April Fools! It comes out on April 8. Sorry, just kidding, it actually does come out on the 11th. »

Arnold Schwarzenegger is most definitely back. And he’s doing what he does best.
The perennial action hero is following up last year’s drug cartel movie, Kim Jee-Woon’s “The Last Stand,” with another drug cartel movie, David Ayer’s “Sabotage.” In the hot new trailer, Schwarzenegger plays the head of a DEA task force who leads his gang of warriors in a drug bust that yields millions of dollars. But he then turns on his own men when he suspects that one of them is behind a vicious string of murders haunting his unit following the cartel take-down.
If you’re not distracted by Schwarzenegger’s parted hair, Joe Manganiello’s unrecognizable scruff or Olivia Williams’ Southern drawl, the trailer can be quite exhilarating. Terrence Howard, Sam Worthington and Mireille Enos also star in the thriller, which hits theaters on April 11.

The Arnold Schwarzenegger-headlined actioner centres on a DEA task force who execute a drug cartel safe house, only to start getting picked off one-by-one by an unknown assassin. From the trailer, it's evident that it is loosely based upon the classic Agatha Christie novel Ten Little Indians.
Schwarzenegger is joined in the cast of Sabotage by Sam Worthington (Avatar), Terrence Howard (The Best Man Holiday), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Harold Perrineau (Lost), Olivia Williams (Dollhouse), Mireille Enos (World War Z), Josh Holloway (Lost), and Max Martini (Pacific Rim).
In truth, with Ayer at the helm, Sabotage may very well be a genuinely good action thriller and with a strong cast, it is slowly moving up my most anticipated of 2014.

Earlier today we saw the first images from David Ayer’s upcoming action thriller Sabotage. While they provided an adequate look at what seems to be a wholly mediocre film, tonight sees the release of the first trailer, which paints a better picture of what we’re in for.
Unfortunately, my thoughts haven’t changed a whole lot since this morning. I do like the grounded feel that the footage gives off, and the ensemble cast led by Arnold Schwarzenegger looks promising, but nothing about Sabotage really stands out to me. Ayer is a proven talent when it comes to gritty crime/cop films, so I won’t give up hope just yet. Plus, like I said, the ensemble (which boasts names like Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams and Mireille Enos), is nothing to scoff at. I just wish that something about this trailer stuck out to me. »

“Here’s a trailer for the latest Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.” These are words we’ll continue to hear for decades. Schwarzenegger’s physical and mental abilities may fade, and eventually, like the rest of us, he will shuffle off this mortal coil. But centuries from now, citizens of our expanding space empire will still find Arnie at the local space-multiplex, composed of stock footage and CGI and still performing the same basic action shtick in movies that are just Ok. So allow me to continue a grand, cultural tradition that will echo on through the years: “Here’s a trailer for the latest Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.” Specifically, Sabotage. Here, the Austrian Oak has a bit of pedigree to back him up. He’s working with a director (David Ayer) with loads of cops-shooting-at-things experience, having directed last year’s End of Watch and penned the screenplay for Training Day. Also, the »

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets betrayed by somebody on his team of top-notch DEA agents in David Ayer’s “Sabotage,” and he’s got a list of famous suspects to choose from. There’s an unrecognizable Sam Worthington (“Avatar”), feisty Mireille Enos (“The Killing”), “Magic Mike” male stripper Joe Manganiello and Terrence Howard (“The Best Man Holiday”). The first trailer for David Ayer's latest film project, Sabotage, which was previously titled Ten, has hit the Internet. The action thriller stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as "an elite DEA task force dealing with the world's deadliest drug cartels. Specializing in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – until someone begins assassinating them one by one."
Ayer has made some awesome films in his career, his most recent being End of Watch. I'm looking forward to seeing Schwarzenegger kick some ass in the movie. This movie looks like the best thing he's made since he got back into acting. It looks like Ayer has made another great, intense movie. »

I don’t know what’s hotter about David Ayer’s “Sabotage”, all the firepower, all the explosions, “The Killing’s” Mireille Enos finally letting her hair down and getting sexy and badass, or Olivia Williams affecting some kind of Godawful Southern accent. Whatever floats your boat, there is sure to be something here in the first trailer for “Sabotage” for just about anyone. Failing that, you can always go back to watching “Downton Abbey”, I suppose. The title is a tad generic. I prefer the original title, “Ten”. Hopefully Mireille Enos doesn’t get killed. Because we don’t need another “killing”. Ahem. In “Sabotage,” Arnold Schwarzengger leads an elite DEA task force that takes on the world’s deadliest drug cartels. Following yesterday's first look images, we now have the first trailer for the action thriller Sabotage starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film from End of Watch director features an ensemble cast, but unlike The Expendables, this one looks to be a little more grounded and features an interesting assemble of talent like Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams and Mireille Enos (the latter looking like a perfect fit for The ExpendaBelles). This looks pretty decent, and Worthington has one hell of a braided beard. Watch below! Here's the first trailer for David Ayer's Sabotage, originally from Yahoo: Sabotage is directed by David Ayer (End of Watch) and written by Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard, The A-Team). A loose spin on Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians"/"And Then There Were None," the story follows a DEA task force who heists a drug cartel safe house, only to start getting picked off one-by-one by an unknown assassin.
It's a robust looking trailer - Ayer's talent for gritty visuals mixed with a strong cast and tried and true formula.
There's also some major surprises - The Killing's Mirelle Enos showing off some killer abs, Olivia Williams with a flattering new haircut, and an almost unrecognisable Sam Worthington who is bald and donning a hillbilly-style goatee for his role.

After seeing a batch of new images surface this week, the first trailer has premiered over on Yahoo Movies, showcasing Arnold Schwarzenegger in arguably his most promising role since returning to the industry. And given the language at the beginning, and even some of the action and blood littered throughout, this trailer might not be red-band, but it’s still not really suitable for work.

Open Road Films has released the first trailer for director David Ayer's (End of Watch) new film Sabotage. Previously referred to as Ten, the film is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s classic mystery Ten Little Indians, as it centers on a DEA task force who heists a drug cartel safe house, only to start getting picked off one-by-one by an unknown assassin. The film actually looks pretty great, as the fantastic ensemble makes for an excitingly hardened team led by Arnold Schwarzenegger, who actually feels like a natural fit for the role of the group's boss/father figure. Intriguing story, talented director, varied and charming ensemble—Sabotage is looking mighty promising. Hit the jump to watch the trailer. The film stars Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams, and Mireille Enos. Sabotage opens on April 11, 2014. Via Yahoo!
