- The film rights to her memoir "Point Your Tail in the Right Direction" were purchased by George Curter and John McCarthy. The film would have starred Hugh O'Brian, Diane McBain and Hedy Lamarr and would've been directed by Jean Yarbrough with a budget of $2,000,000. McCarthy also would've co-written the script with Emmett.
- People live and think differently in a small town, like Modesto, than they do in Los Angeles. It's been a good experience for us all to have been here.
- Some children get too much of a Hollywood glamour complex, it all becomes too important to them, and this isn't good.
- In the first place, children should only attempt to go into modeling or television if they really want to and really enjoy it. I don't disapprove of children working, and as my husband says 'acting beats having a paper route'.
