Outcast Devil Brent Spiner Discusses Sidney's 'Job,' Great Merge and More

30 July 2016 4:25 AM, PDT | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Warning: The following interview contains spoilers for Friday’s Outcast. If you’ve yet to see the episode, get the hell out.

In Friday’s Outcast, Brent Spiner‘s sinister Sidney not only explained to Kyle — and us — the ins and outs of possession, the demon also revealed that there are some things in the world that are just as bad or even worse than in hell. So we wound up finishing “What Lurks Within” with as many questions as we had when we began; they were just different questions. Luckily, we were able to get the actor on the phone to answer them. »

Outcast: Comic-Con Trailer Promises Epic Kyle/Sidney Fight to End Season 1

Outcast may have saved its best for last.

The trailer that Cinemax’s demonic-possession drama released Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con to promote the tail end of Season 1 is so jam-packed with violent and disorienting visuals that, if your eyes were unprepared for the madness, it could’ve made your head spin (around and around and… ).

But what may be most intriguing about the clip is that it teases the showdown to which we’ve been building for seven episodes now — the epic battle between Patrick Fugit’s accidental exorcist Kyle and his devilish tormentor, »

Review: Person of Interest the Complete Fifth Season

20 July 2016 12:00 PM, PDT | Comicmix.com | See recent Comicmix news »

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.

It used to be we worried about the threat of artificial intelligence in movies like Colossus: The Forbin Project or “The Ultimate Computer” episode of Star Trek. Today, though, artificial intelligence is here thanks to Siri and Cortanna and their cousins. We talk to our phones and they answer back and these bots are growing increasingly sophisticated. As a result, what seemed ahead of its time a mere give years ago is looking increasingly prescient.

CBS’ Person of Interest arrived on September 22, 2011 and came with a fine pedigree having been created by Jonathan Nolan with J.J. Abrams on board as Executive Producer. It starred Michael Emerson, hot off Lost, Jim Caviezel, a pre-Empire Taraji P. Henson, and Kevin Chapman. It received near universal acclaim »

Person of Interest: Season Five Ratings

22 June 2016 1:28 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

CBS has already cancelled Person of Interest so the ratings don't matter as much for the final, fifth season. However, if the numbers are strong enough, could the network or studio decide to make a sixth season anyway? Stay tuned.

On Person of Interest, a presumed dead former-cia agent (Jim Caviezel) and a mysterious billionaire (Michael Emerson) work together to prevent violent crimes in New York City. The rest of the cast includes Kevin Chapman, Sarah Shahi, and Amy Acker.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- usually the next day, around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.

Ricky Church reviews the season 5 finale of Person of Interest

Moments make up our lives. Whether they are big moments or small moments, we can always recall one particular moment out of a memory. Final moments in particular are something we always remember and play a huge part in how we look back at something. For television series this is most especially true as the ending of a series either secures or damages its legacy. We’ve seen this a number of times in the last few years with shows such as Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Battlestar Galactica and Lost. It is fitting, then, that final moments were a central theme in Person of Interest’s series finale.

Though Finch effectively crippled Samaritan in the previous episode with his Ice-9 virus, the AI was making one more desperate attempt to survive and wipe out Finch and his cohorts. The tension »
