'Homeland' soars to series high of 2.5m on Channel 4

Us drama Homeland continues to perform solidly for Channel 4, the latest overnight data has revealed. Starring Damian Lewis and Claire Danes, the show last night (Sunday) climbed to its highest audience so far for 'Blind Spot', pulling in 2.11m (8.3%) in the 9pm hour and 351k (2%) on +1. The critically-acclaimed series has not dropped below the 2m mark since premiering last month (February). The Dancing on Ice semi-final attracted 6.96m (29.5%) to ITV1 from 7pm (+1: 215k/0.9%), then Jennifer Ellison's Skate Off departure was seen by 5.76m (22.5%) at 9.30pm (+1: 237k/1.5%). Jennifer Ellison was left vomiting with concussion following her 'Dancing On Ice' accident on Sunday (12.02.12). The Sunday reality show pulled in just 6.99m (26.1%) for its two-hour main show from 6.30pm, which saw contestant Jennifer Ellison require medical assistance after cutting her head open with a skate during her routine. 246k (0.9%) watched on ITV1 +1.
