Chris' girlfriend tweeted a special message after Chris won Top R&B Artist. Rihanna must be thrilled! Poor Rihanna. Mark Zuckerberg Rings Nasdaq Opening Bell; Letterman & O'Brien Talk Jay Leno; Betty White Gets Roasted

ReelzChannel Celebrity Rundown

Today is finally the day that Facebook goes public — one of the biggest IPOs ever. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg rung the Nasdaq opening bell from the social network's California headquarters. Some water cooler points about the company going public:

— Zuckerberg is expected to pocket $20B personally;

— Because he owns 2.3 percent of Facebook, Bono will surpass Paul McCartney to becoming to world's richest rock star;

— This Ipo creates a thousand new millionaires;

— With a valuation of $104B, Facebook is worth more than Disney, Kraft, and Amazon;

— Apparently money heals all wounds because Eduardo Saverin congratulated Zuckerberg over Facebook about the company going public. He should, the Ipo is expected to make Saverin $3B.

Rihanna’s Sexy See-Through Getup — Luring Chris Brown?

18 May 2012 6:22 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Oh no! Rihanna stepped out in a super revealing outfit -- was she trying to grab Chris Brown's attention? Rihanna isn't scared to flaunt her sexuality. She has tweeted photos of her at a strip club in the past. But now she's taken it to a whole new level! The 24-year-old was spotted dining Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., wearing a white bandeau top and a see-through skirt. Definitely a sight that left little to the imagination. But was she trying to get Chris Brown's attention? He has been throwing insults back at her by buying Karrueche Tran diamond duds! Hmm! What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Do you like Rihanna's getup? Is she trying to grab Chris' attention? Vote and weigh in below. More Chris Brown & Rihanna News Did Chris Brown Give Up On Rihanna Romance? Box office preview: Will 'Battleship' sink 'The Avengers'?

17 May 2012 7:15 PM, PDT | EW - Inside Movies | See recent EW.com - Inside Movies news »

Three new wide releases will attempt to dethrone the almighty Avengers this weekend: the board-game-meets-alien-invasion action flick Battleship, the ensemble pregnancy comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting, and the latest outrageous comedy from Sacha Baron Cohen, The Dictator.

Nice try, guys. The Avengers should finish No. 1 for the third weekend in a row, and will break a couple more box-office records in the process. Here are my predictions:

1. The Avengers: $58 million

The box-office behemoth dropped just 50 percent last weekend for $103.1 million — by far the biggest second weekend ever. Avatar holds the record for the best third weekend with $68.5 million, »

Anchorman 2 Trailer Leaker Online

17 May 2012 10:38 AM, PDT | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

If you have not seen the The Dictator yet (and based on the movie's weak $4.2M debut, the odds are you haven't), then you haven't seen the teaser trailer for Anchorman 2, that is until the teaser was leaked online.

We at Reelz are staying classy, so we won't post the leaked teaser (though we heard, if you're inclined, that you can watch it here).

The 30-second clip includes Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner reprising their roles as the Kvwn-tv Action News team. The crew talks up their next adventure.

Get ready to ride the palomino stallion.

We're going to be broadcasting from a hot tub full of Scotch.

Oops, it's jean-creaming time.

Well, at least we know the guys are staying classy.

Chris Brown’s Ultimate Diss To Rihanna: Buying Karrueche Tran Diamond Rings

17 May 2012 10:20 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Things are definitely heating up between Chris & Karrueche: He gave her a diamond ring for her birthday! We bet Rihanna is totally heartbroken! Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran are taking their relationship to a new level -- one that includes jewelry! The 23-year-old musician gave his lady love a diamond ring for her birthday, and she showed it off to all her Twitter followers! "Kind of speechless right now..." she tweeted May 17. (And we bet Chris' ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, is too!) For the last several months, Rihanna has been trying her hardest to get Chris back, but she can't seem to tear him away from Karrueche. At this point, her racy photos, suggestive tweets and love-stricken quotes are just confusing. But who knows if things will change in the future? As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier, there is a 50/50 chance that the couple will reunite later this year! [Twitter] Jennifer Kamm More »

Morning Meme: Matthew Mitcham Takes America In Funky Trunks, "The New Normal" Finds Some Humor, and Ryan Seacrest Is Moving In With Ellen

16 May 2012 5:40 AM, PDT | AfterElton.com | See recent AfterElton.com news »

I'm completely underwhelmed by ABC's pilots this year, but a report from the presentation mentioned a joke by Jimmy Kimmel.  "'If you pay Britney Spears $15 million, how much do you have to pay someone who can sing?' Kimmel said, which was met with a pitying groan. 'Oh, I didn't realize this was a gay audience!'" Honestly, knowing what I know of the reporters attending, how could he not know it was a gay audience?

I suddenly feel very old.

President Obama seems determined to double down on equality. He's threatened to veto the Violence Against Women Act as passed by the House, which doesn't include the Glbt protections as one of the reasons.

How I Met Your Mother Reveals Secret In “The Magician’s Code”

16 May 2012 4:37 AM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

In a strange way, I almost wish How I Met Your Mother’s seventh season had ended with just Part 1 of “The Magician’s Code.” It certainly felt more like a finale, what with the birth of Marvin Wait For It Erickson being a big enough moment in the story for things to end. Having things carry on into Part 2 and revealing Barney’s bride sounds good on paper, but it just didn’t work out the way I had hoped. For all the twists and turns that happened, the ending wasn’t at all a surprise. The show tried so hard to be unpredictable that it ended up being completely predictable.

Let’s start with Part 1. Delivering a baby is a classic episode, especially in sitcoms. Every show needs to do this at some point, and with the more classic comedies it usually happens in the later seasons when »

Dana Schutz: Piano in the Rain Friedrich Petzel Gallery Through June 16, 2012

The sitcom, or situation comedy, is a television show format that usually features a family scenario (for example, a husband and wife, like in The Honeymooners), or a larger, extended family (The Cosby Show), or some kind of surrogate family (Barney Miller, Cheers). In this weekly formula a mini-crisis or drama ensues, threatening to unravel the delicate fabric of the familial tranquility. Historically, theatrical comedies have often dealt with the concerns of human activities and conditions in ways that drama can't, cloaking tragedy with humor. Shakespeare, for example, often used his comedies to deal with subject matter that might have been problematic to present as drama; the entirety of Restoration theatre was based on the use of satire as a form of social and political critique.

Trailers and Clips for a Ton of New Shows on NBC

14 May 2012 3:00 PM, PDT | GeekTyrant | See recent GeekTyrant news »

NBC has released a bunch of trailers and clips for a new collection of TV series that they have been developing. We've got stuff from 1600 Penn, Infamous, Save MeNext Caller, Do No HarmThe New Normal, Guys With Kids, and Go On. It will be interesting to what shows make it and what shows end up on the chopping block. Check out the trailers and clips and let us know which ones look good to you!

1600 Penn:

“1600 Penn” — The Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues – like a grown kid who’s forced to move back home, children who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Jenna Elfman, “Dharma and Greg”) desperately trying to win over the kids. They’re loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everybody else. With one exception: they live in a very special house. »

Next Factor: 'Battleship' Star Rihanna

14 May 2012 7:00 AM, PDT | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

Rihanna is already an international superstar as a musician, but this month marks her official transition from singer to actor, with her debut role in the board game-based summer release "Battleship" (May 18). The Caribbean hitmaker follows in the footsteps of such multi-hyphenate talents as Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé, but Rihanna's acting-career potential will potentially sink or swim with the fate of the $200 million blockbuster.

We're willing to bet most of her fans (us included) will want to see the "Umbrella" singer kick some alien butt from a state-of-the-art "Battleship."

Age: 24

Hometown: St. Michael, Barbados

What She's Done: You know, the usual -- winning multiple Grammys, selling millions of albums, breaking industry records and performing in front of heads of state, royalty, and hordes of adoring fans. But, despite contributing to dozens of soundtracks and appearing on a couple of "Saturday Night Live" sketches, this is Rihanna's first acting role. »

NBC's 2012-2013 Schedule: 'Community' Moves To Fridays, Plus Preview New Shows

13 May 2012 12:42 PM, PDT | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

In advance of their official Upfronts presentation on Monday, NBC jumped the gun to be the first network to unveil their complete 2012-2013 schedule on Sunday.

The biggest story? "Community" is moving to Fridays, along with sophomore sitcom "Whitney," which will kick off that rather random new night of programming.

"Smash" is also being bumped -- all the way to midseason -- to make way for the premiere of "Revolution," a new thriller from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke, which will air after "The Voice" on Mondays. And yes, that means "The Voice" will be back in the fall, giving it two cycles a year, as predicted.

NBC will also try their hand at airing comedies on Tuesday nights, with Matthew Perry's "Go On" and Ryan Murphy's "Th New Normal" getting paired together.

Also being saved for midseason are new sitcoms "Save Me," "1600 Penn" and "Next Caller," and new dramas "Do No Harm, »

PopWatch Planner: Farewell Wisteria Lane, hello Howard Stern

13 May 2012 6:00 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Parting is such sweet sorrow, and this week witnesses so many television season finales — including Desperate Housewives’ huge series finale — that dedicated fans will be looking for ways to fill the void. (Except hardcore gamers, who can likely ignore every suggestion after Tuesday’s release of Diablo III.) But there’s plenty of entertainment to lift your spirits: Howard Stern is loose on the airwaves again, a horrible dictator is dealt some New York justice, and your favorite sitcom couple will cap the week, hopefully on a high note.

President Obama has picked up a major celebrity endorsement – Betty White. The actress says that she normally keeps her politics to herself, but that she likes “how he represents us.” I wonder if that will help with the older demographic?

 Speaking of President Obama, Ryan Murphy and his fiancé David Miller are going to host a fundraising dinner for the president, coinciding with a major Glbt fundraiser in Los Angeles. Dinner with the president will cost $40,000 per couple or $25,000 for singles, and between the concert and the dinner they expect to raise between $5 million and $10 million dollars. This is on top of the $15 million the president raised with the George Clooney fundraiser this past week.
