DeWyze hasn’t been much of a money-maker ala Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia and Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery; according to Popdust, DeWyze’s debut album, “Live It Up,” which was released November 2010, sold only 168,000 copies, whereas McCreery’s debut album, “Clear As Day,” is expected to sell 175,000 copies in its first week alone, already selling more than DeWyze’s debut album. Brandy has inked a new recording contract. The singer and Drop Dead Diva actress is expected to release her sixth studio LP under the deal - a joint venture between RCA Records and producer Breyon Prescott's Chameleon Records - in early 2012. Chief executive of RCA Music Group Peter Edge said in a statement: "Throughout her career, Brandy has consistently won the vote as everyone's favorite female vocalist.
