Rob Zombie Talks The Lords of Salem, available now on Blu-ray, DVD and VOD

The summer movie season is officially over and the fall awards season has yet to kick into full gear, so we, as film fans, are stuck in a weird sort of limbo that consists of last month's leftovers and B grade schlock at the Cineplex this weekend. If you can't muster up the energy needed to see Vin Diesel in the Drive-In classic-to-be Riddick, you could instead crank up the AC, grab any beverage of choice, and select The Lords of Salem on Blu-ray or DVD. Even better, it's also available on VOD, which just takes a couple of clicks on the remote to enjoy!

Released in the spring to bewildered stares and mostly slack-jawed amazement, now is the prefect time to either see The Lords of Salem for the first time, or revisit its weird »

10 Major Sex Pots From The 1970s

16 August 2013 9:25 AM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Few recent decades contain as much sex as the 1970s. It was the era of porno chic, the sexual revolution and a general – anything goes! – attitude. Let’s face it, all of the good sex films were made in the 1970s – the classic ones like Emmanuelle and Deep Throat. Russ Meyer was sexing it up to the max and even Britain had a sexploitation industry. It may have been cheesy but at least it contained some decent eye candy.

I have given you here a wide variety of 1970s film crumpet to titillate and tantalise you. Please add your own personal 1970s babe below…

10. Dyanne Thorne

Dyanne Thorne is known chiefly for her contributions to the Ilsa series of film in which she plays the evil, sadomasochistic Ilsa in a variety of exotic settings. She had a killer body and was regularly photographed topless for pin up magazines as well »

Wamg Tribute: Director Jess Franco – 1930-2013

2 April 2013 8:34 AM, PDT | | See recent news »

Sad news from Spain. Legendary director Jesús Franco Manera, aka Jess Franco, aka Clifford Brown and a couple dozen more pseudonyms, often took from the names of the American jazz musicians he so admired, has died at the age of 82. Franco suffered a stroke last week from which he couldn’t recover.

His Erotic Rites Of Frankenstein featured a shrieking, silver-skinned Frankenstein’s monster relentlessly whipping a man and a woman tied together over a bed of spikes. It was but one of countless sublime images from the output of the most prolific Exploitation director of all-time (yes, that includes Corman). With a repertoire of over 200 titles, Franco enriched the world of Eurohorror/Exploitation by writing, directing, and scoring a vast variety of films, including masterpieces such as Female Vampire, Count Dracula, Faceless, Night Of The Bloody Judge, Eugenie De Sade, and Venus In Furs, an epic amount of art, »
