By eleven pm last night the sidewalk in front of the Rio Theater on Broadway at Commercial felt like a block party complete with catering, music and second hand atmosphere. The Trailer Park Boys are back with a second full-length feature film entitled Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day. The film picks up right where their 2008 Thanksgiving special left off. Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles are about to be released from jail, and there's only one thing on their minds: Taking park supervisor Mr. Lahey and his partner Randy down for good! In Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day, Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, Sam Losco, Cyrus, and Ray all plot revenge against Jim Lahey upon their release from prison. Directed by series creator Mike Clattenburg, the film stars Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, John Dunsworth, Mike Smith, and Patrick Roach. The film is set to unleash its nastiness on September 25th, 2009.
