Former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has revealed that she would not rule out a future return to the soap. The actress recently bowed out from her role as Mandy Richardson after almost a year back in the part. Dunn told Ok Extra of her decision to leave: "Hollyoaks is a huge part of my life. But I felt I'd taken the character as far as possible and now I want to try my hand at different things. "I've just been for an exciting audition, but I don't want to tempt fate by talking about it. If it comes off, it'll be amazing!" Speaking further about leaving Hollyoaks, she continued: "When I was asked to come back on the show, I felt Mandy had a much darker side to her. Sarah Jayne Dunn is leaving her role as Mandy Richardson on Hollyoaks. The actress, who first appeared in the Channel 4 soap in September 1996, confirmed the news on Twitter. "For those of you asking yes I have left Hollyoaks again & I'm now concentrating on exciting new projects," she wrote, thanking fans for their support. Word is spreading about the real paranormal activities that occurred during the making of The Stone: No Soul Unturned. Publicity stunt or not, when words like “Most Haunted” are being tossed about and cellphones are doing strange things, the question of whether or not Annesley Hall is truly haunted depends on who is being asked. And viewers will get a chance to find out for themselves when the DVD releases on August 23. There will be plenty of bonus material that explores the real history of this building and offer music videos at the same time.
At least for the production team involved with the making this film, they truly believe there is something evil that exists there. They »

Some of you may remember the TV show Through The Keyhole, which died a slow lingering death on daytime television, having run out of genuine stars' homes for the panels to identify. In those sad fin de siècle days I suspect the panellists used to get a little help in guessing exactly which second-division footballer or minor soap actor's house was under discussion, but sometimes, for the sake of authenticity, host David Frost would let them exhaust all their guesses and announce in a very Frostian manner: "You'll kick yourself when you find out who it is." This was Frostie's shorthand for: "I have absolutely no idea who this person is, and why they were booked."
