Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara make a break for it in 8 new Hot Pursuit clips

8 May 2015 4:42 PM, PDT | Cineplex | See recent Cineplex news »

Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara team up in this month’s Hot Pursuit, a buddy cop-meets-odd couple shindig in the vein of The Heat or Miss Congeniality.

Taking a break from the darker work that she’s been doing lately (notably Wild and Gone Girl), Witherspoon goes back to her comedic roots as Cooper, a straight-laced cop tasked with transporting a drug lord’s widow to Texas.

Sofia Vergara plays that widow, Daniella, who is also the lone survivor of a mass assassination of drug kingpins. With criminals and crooked cops alike out to get them, Cooper and Daniella flee for their lives, butting heads along the way.

We’re incredibly excited to see the Legally Blonde and "Modern Family" stars clumsily figure out a way to work together on what is sure to be a hilarious road trip (or involuntary witness protection programme).

The 5 Best Moments From RuPaul’s Drag Race

21 April 2015 8:28 AM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

After last week’s mediocre showing in “Snatch Game,” this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race is one for the ages. Not only are the contestants faced with the sudden return of the previously eliminated queens, but they’re forced to work with them to stave off their own elimination. The shady stakes could not be higher, and everyone is the better for it, as evidenced by this week’s five memorable moments. We’ll Never Be (Latrice) RoyaleThis week’s mini-challenge involved the girls trying to bring glam to the slammer and prove that orange is the new drag. Each had 20 minutes to turn out a prison uniform and make that perp walk runway-worthy. As inspiration, season-four alumna Latrice Royale was on hand to recapture the magic of her time spent as a a Tuckahoe Prison for Ladies guard from the previous season. Royale is a fan favorite, »

Chris Pratt admits defeat after Super Bowl Xlix bet, visits children's hospital with Chris Evans

6 February 2015 11:56 AM, PST | Cineplex | See recent Cineplex news »

Updated (02/06): Chris Pratt made good on his #TwitterBowl bet. Pratt, dressed in full Star-Lord gear, visited victor Chris Evans' choice children's charity, Christopher's Haven in Boston. The Marvel actor posted the evidence on his Facebook page, admitting defeat:

It was the Super Bowl bet to end all Super Bowl bets: Captain America vs. Star-Lord.

During last night's football game, The Avengers’ Chris Evans stuck true to character, supporting the New England Patriots, while his Marvel colleague, Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt, had all bets on the Seattle Seahawks. Their stakes were adorable: showing up at their opponent’s local children’s hostipal in full superhero garb.

The pair used their Twitter accounts to leverage the popularity of the now infamous “#TwitterBowl,” calling upon their fans to help support their respective charity (and football team).

26 January 2015 12:47 AM, PST | Us Weekly | See recent Us Weekly news »

It might be a cliche but Miss USA had a message to the world's terrorists during Miss Universe 2015 pageant on Sunday, Jan. 25 — just focus on hope, love, and peace! In a much retweeted moment during the always-controversial interview section of the pageant, Miss USA Nia Sanchez was asked what her message would be to the terrorists. And channeling that Miss Congeniality scene where all pageant contestants ask for world peace, Sanchez's response was pretty much textbook. "What message would you give to terrorists?" Sigh. #missuniverse A video [...] »
