  • Played Mona in "Days of Wine and Roses", based on Days of Wine and Roses (1962) - Donmar Warehouse (2005).
  • Her National Theatre credits include: the title character in George Bernard Shaw's "Saint Joan" (2007), Lisa in "Collected Stories" (1999, also tour), "Cordelia" in William Shakespeare's "King Lear" (1997), "Wendy" in "Peter Pan", and "Amelia" in "La Grande Magia" (1995).
  • Played Lyudmila in "Vassa", based on the novel by Maxim Gorky - Almeida Theatre, London (1999).
  • (1994) She played Maud in Mike Alfreds' adaptation of Sheridan Le Fanu's play, "Uncle Silas", in the Cambridge Theatre Company Tour with Terence Wilton, Sam Cox and Carolyn Johns in the cast. Mike Alfreds was also the director.
  • (1995) She played Maggie in the Shared Experience theatre company production of George Eliot's novel, "The Mill on the Floss", at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, London, England with Simeon Andrews, Jonathan Cake, Simon Cox, Catherine Cusack, Michael Matus, Clara Salaman and Helen Schlesinger in the cast. Nancy Meckler and Polly Teale were the directors.
  • (2007) She played Lady Dunce in Thomas Otway's play, "The Soldier's Fortune", at the Young Vic Theatre in London, England with David Bamber, Ray Fearon and Oliver Ford Davies in the cast. David Lan was the director.
  • (1999) She acted in Donald Margulies' play, "Collected Stories", at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London, England with Helen Mirren in the cast. Howard Davies was the director.
  • (March 29, 2011 - June 11, 2011) Played Alma Rattenbury in Terence Rattigan's "Cause Célèbre" at The Old Vic, London.
  • (June 2013) Playing Nina in Eugene O'Neill's "Strange Interlude" at the Lyttelton Theatre, London. Directed by Simon Godwin, the play is part of the National Theatre's program for its 50th anniversary year.
  • (December 2013 - January 12, 2014) Starring as Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's "Macbeth" at New York City's Lincoln Center Theater in production directed by Jack O'Brien, and co-starring Ethan Hawke.
  • (October 2015 - March 2016) Performed in the stage production of "Husbands and Sons" as Lizzie Holroyd, alongside Joe Armstrong, Matthew Barker, John Biggins, Cassie Bradley, Louise Brealey and Susan Brown, at the Dorfman Theatre, London and Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, UK.
  • (October 2016 - November 2016) Played May in the stage play Oil, alongside Yolanda Kettle, at the Almeida Theatre, London, UK.
