‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Jackson Makes An Epic Confession

12 December 2013 8:40 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

The Dec. 12 midseason finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ was one for the ages.

Seriously, what didn’t happened on the Dec. 12 episode of Grey’s Anatomy? This episode had it all: Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) continued to shoot verbal bullets at each other, Alex (Justin Chambers) and his dad reached closure, and then there was that wedding.

Cristina, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Shane (Gaius Charles) gave a press conference on the success of Cristina’s conduit trial, where Cristina was visibly nervous — especially when Meredith walked in.

And that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Burn After Burn

While Cristina and Meredith were getting fitted for bridesmaid dresses, gauntlets were thrown. The fact that Cristina was getting credit for her printer and being considered for the Harper Avery award set Meredith off. They both criticized each other for how they live their lives, with Cristina saying »

[Warning: This story contains spoilers from Thursday's midseason finale "Get Up, Stand Up" episode of Grey's Anatomy.] ABC's Grey's Anatomy went into its winter hiatus with a massive cliffhanger Thursday. During the season 10 midseason finale, April's (Sarah Drew) wedding day didn't go according to plan (shocker!) as her bridesmaids navigated personal and professional woes. After April taps Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) to replace her sisters as her bridesmaids, the trio of Grey Sloan Memorial docs did nearly everything in their power to steal April's thunder. Meredith and Cristina had it out in one

'Grey's Anatomy's' Sarah Drew on April's 'Bridezilla Moments,' Shocking Midseason Finale

12 December 2013 8:00 AM, PST | The Hollywood Reporter | See recent The Hollywood Reporter news »

Sarah Drew's April Kepner is having her Katy Perry "Roar" moment. During the penultimate Grey's Anatomy episode of 2013, Drew's lovable doc really came into her own after she put her foot down with her judgmental sisters who couldn't stop seeing April as "Duckie," the late-blooming ugly duckling of the family. Instead of accepting their mocking, April tapped Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina (Sandra Oh) and newfound confidant Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) as her bridesmaids, sending her siblings packing as she prepared to march down the aisle and tie the knot with Matthew (Justin Bruening). 'Grey's Anatomy': Sarah Drew previews April's wedding, what made Ellen Pompeo scream at a table read

12 December 2013 6:30 AM, PST | EW - Inside TV | See recent EW.com - Inside TV news »

Grey’s Anatomy weddings are sort of like a (super dramatic) rite of passage on the show. There was the time Cristina had her eyebrows waxed off,  and then there was Meredith and Derek’s quick ceremony at the courthouse. Callie and Arizona had a fairly drama-free wedding, and Bailey was able to enjoy her big day once she made it to the church. And let’s not forget Cristina’s living room wedding, or the time Alex recited stolen (but sweet) wedding vows to Izzie. The lesson: Big events are never perfect on Grey’s, they will probably make you cry, »

The "Grey's Anatomy" winter finale airs this Thursday (Dec. 12 at 9:00 p.m. on ABC), and a wedding is on the books (isn't that the best time for a wedding, after all?). Dr. April Kepner (played by Sarah Drew) is set to walk down the aisle with paramedic Matthew (Justin Bruening), but more than a few people are rooting for a last minute save from Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams). Of course, actually getting hitched is just one of April's problems, according to Drew. I talked to the actress briefly about the midseason finale, whether April turns into a bridezilla, and why »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Cristina Defends Shane Against Meredith

5 December 2013 8:57 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, Alex gets a shocking surprise!

The holiday break brought fresh drama to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The Dec. 5 episode of Grey’s Anatomy featured a surprising kiss, April’s (Sarah Drew) hilarious bridal shower, and Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) continuing struggle to maintain control of her life.

Lights, Camera, Scalpel!

Cristina (Sandra Oh) was planning a surgery using a conduit from Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) printer. Apparently, this was a Huge deal. Doctors everywhere wanted a chance to view this groundbreaking surgery. However, the parents of the patient didn’t want cameras in the room. Funny thing is, Cristina didn’t even know about it and wasn’t happy about all the attention.

Owen (Kevin McKidd) convinced her to allow cameras inside the Or. So, Cristina’s surgery got the royal treatment. When the patient started to crash, she asked the cameras to be turned off. In the morning, »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Shane Confronts Meredith About Cristina

21 November 2013 9:12 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, everyone is getting really concerned about Bailey — and they should be.

The Nov. 21 episode of Grey’s Anatomy gave the doctors some things to be thankful for, and some things not to be thankful for. Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) continued to make progress, while Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) weird behavior got worse — and two doctors shared an unexpected kiss!

Invitations & ‘Services’

April (Sarah Drew) started sending out wedding invitations for her wedding to Matthew (Justin Bruening) and she extended an early invitation to Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton). She told Stephanie that she could bring Jackson (Jesse Williams). Wait, why doesn’t April just invite Jackson? They are much closer than her and Stephanie. Well, it turns out that April didn’t want to put Jackson on the list because his name would be first and it would always be the first name she saw. It’s a weird excuse, »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Bailey’s Headed For A Breakdown

7 November 2013 8:51 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Plus, Meredith & Cristina’s friendship hits a new low! Can it ever recover?

Some of our favorite doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial started to lose their cool on the Nov. 7 episode of Grey’s Anatomy: Ben (Jason George) began to notice that Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is not Ok, and Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) friendship reached an all-time low.

What’s Happening To Bailey?

Granted, Bailey has been through a lot in the past few weeks, but after tonight’s episode, I am very worried. Ben found her frantically searching Tuck’s room to find some smell. It just wasn’t normal Bailey behavior.

At the hospital, her behavior got weirder. She was picky about her O.R., and was still worried about the smell in Tuck’s room. During surgery, she became light-headed and snapped at Jo (Camilla Luddington). She even blacked out for a few seconds! »

Plus, zombies invade Grey Sloan Memorial!

The patients that came into Grey Sloan Memorial on the Oct. 31 episode of Grey’s Anatomy had some seriously gross wounds. There was blood, maggots and…zombies? Let’s dig into the spook-tacular Halloween episode!

The episode opened with very happy Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) in bed with Leah (Tessa Ferrer)! When Leah realized what they’d done the night before, she kind of freaked out. She wanted to make it seem like it was innocent snuggling, but you know Leah is developing strong feelings for Arizona.

Butterflies & Princesses & Astronauts. Oh, My!

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was worried about Alex (Justin Chambers) setting up her old house for trick-or-treaters, as she was a little preoccupied with Zola’s butterfly costume. Since Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith don’t have neighbors at their mansion, Alex offered up the house for one night. Cristina (Sandra Oh) wasn’t initially invited, »
