Last month during Star Wars Celebration Anaheim we got a trailer for the second season of the animated series Star Wars Rebels [watch it here], and it seems we won’t have too long to wait before we see the crew of the Ghost back on our TV screens.
Lucasfilm has announced that season two will get underway on June 20th at 9pm with a special hour-long episode entitled ‘The Siege of Lothal’, although subsequent episodes won’t start airing until “the fall.”
Season two of Rebels will see Ashley Eckstein and Dee Bradley Baker reprising their roles as Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex, Wolffe and Gregor, while Darth Vader will also feature prominently as James Earl Jones once again lends his voice to the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Lucasfilm and Disney Xd have announced that the second season of "Star Wars" is set to debut on Saturday, June 20th at 9pm. That's considerably earlier than expected.
The new season commences with the one-hour episode "The Siege of Lothal" which screened at Star Wars Celebration the other weekend. The downside? The remaining episodes of the second season though won't start airing until this Fall.

Three years ago right around this time, I was lamenting the fact that there was a sad, sad lack of comics and genre fashion merchandise geared towards women. At the time, my experience was that the available clothing for women to purchase and wear was mostly t-shirts, only some of which were actually fitted for or geared towards women. And accessories of the sort women might be interested in, like jewelry or handbags or less manly wallets, were mostly available only via Etsy or through other fan enterprises.
Generally speaking, what was available via licensed merchandisers was also lacking in the style, flair, subtlety, or imagination that I’d have really liked to see in female comics fashion. Despite being a fan of the comfort of a cute tee shirt, there are times when I’d prefer to be able to let fly the flag of my geek pride with »

Fangirls, assemble! Fashion retailer Hot Topic and Marvel have teamed up to release an Avengers clothing line for women.
The outfits were designed by Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein and Amy Beth Christenson and Andrew MacLaine, competition winners from Comic-Con 2014's "Geek Couture" fashion show launched by Her and Hot Topic.
The Marvel range will be available from Hot Topic's website and select Us stores from May 12.
Marvel and Disney have recently found themselves under fire for a lack of female superhero merchandise. Research from The Telegraph found that of 60 items released earlier this month, just three featured Scarlett Johansson's assassin character.
Who says superheroes can’t be stylish? Eschewing spandex and body armor for a more flattering look, geek girl apparel company Her Universe and Disney Consumer Products have partnered for a new line of clothes inspired by the heroes of “Marvel’s Avengers” (and the villainous Loki). The fashion line will be available mid-May exclusively at Hot Topic stores and HotTopic.com, with an online pre-sale already under way ahead of “Avengers: Age of Ultron’s” May 1 release.
The “Avengers” line features items designed by winners of the first-ever Her Universe “Geek Couture” Fashion Show held at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where attendees Amy Beth Christenson and Andrew MacLaine took top honors for their original creations. As part of the prize, they won the opportunity to design an exclusive fashion collection with Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein for Hot Topic.

Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels will not only feature James Earl Jones returning to voice Vader and Ashley Eckstein reprising the role of Ashoka, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself Sarah Michelle Geller joining the cast as a mysterious character many believe will turn out to be a young Princess Leia. Plus, as you'll see from the brilliant trailer below, we'll be seeing some more familiar faces from the Clone Wars such as Captain Rex. Though Ahsoka will play a "significant role" in the series moving forward, don't expect her to pop up every week. Like Vader, the character will be used sparingly to maintain some mystery and excitement for the episodes in which they are featured. Continuing the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga, "Star Wars Rebels" unfolds between the events of Star Wars Episodes III and IV and tells the story of the motley but clever »
The season finale of Star Wars Rebels saw the return of the fan favorite character, Ahsoka Tano, from The Clone Wars. While we now know that the one-time padawan of Anakin Skywalker survived the Jedi purge, what does the future hold for her? Come inside to learn more!
Ahsoka is an interesting character. In a handful of seasons on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, she went from one of the most annoying characters, to being a fan favorite. When the show was cancelled after the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm, fans were desperate to see how her story ended. Rumors of her return in Star Wars Rebels (the »

As so many had rightly guessed, Fulcrum turned out to be fan-favourite Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano, who was once an apprentice to Anakin Skywalker before he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. When last we saw her she had left the Jedi order and gone into exile, but last night she made her return, once again voiced by Ashley Eckstein. Though Ahsoka will play a "significant role" in the series moving forward, don't expect her to pop up every week. Like Vader, the character will be used sparingly to maintain some mystery and excitement for the episodes on which they are featured. More at the link below. »
Star Wars Rebels hasn't skimped on bringing in classic and fan-favorte characters into the show, and new reports have come in that the second season premiere will feature Three returning characters. Come inside to find out who!
One of the things I've enjoyed most about Star Wars Rebels, is just how deftly they've handled cameos for other Star Wars characters. Where they could easliy feel forced into the show to make fans excited, the showrunners have done an excellent job in making everything flow naturally and apart of the overall story. It's nicely done, so it's always great to hear about More classic characters returning. We already know that Lando will be back for more, but our friends at MakingStarWars broke the news that 3 classic characters will pop up in the show's second season premiere.
I overheard exactly who was in the opening of Star Wars Rebels Season II by someone from Lucasfilm. »
