Director Peter Jackson personally offered her the role of "Éowyn" in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), but she declined due to her impending pregnancy, which wouldn't have worked with the 18-month on-location production the movies required.
