In her autobiography "Like a Lampshade in a Whorehouse", ex-wife Phyllis Diller claims Warde was bisexual, which resulted in their divorce in 1975.
Tall, handsome baritone of post-war musicals who met wife Phyllis Diller while both were performing in a Chicago revival of the musical "Wonderful Town" in the summer of 1962.
First wife died in 1965. That same year he married comedienne Phyllis Diller.
Ex-stepfather of Perry Diller, Peter Diller, Stephanie Diller, Sally Diller and Sue Diller.
