Football fans will be tuning in to watch both the Nfc and Afc championship games today, to see what two teams will be playing in the Super Bowl next month. Movie fans will also get a sneak peak at Warner Bros.' King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, which is set to open in theaters on May 12. This new preview shows how Arthur, played by Charlie Hunnam, rises from nothing to become king, which comes just a day after the new poster surfaced.

Way back in 2014, Warner Bros. Pictures set a summer 2016 release date for this movie, which is said to be the first in an epic six-movie series. That date was eventually pushed up to March 24, 2017, where it would have gone up against Lionsgate's Power Rangers, Warner Bros.' CHiPs and Sony's Life. This summer, one of the greatest legends of all time returns to theaters in a way audiences have never seen. Today, we have a brand new poster for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. It stars Charlie Hunnam as the noble knight who rose up out of obscurity to save an ancient land. This poster offers a tagline for the movie, hinting at Arthur's origins.

Warner Bros. launched this poster this morning, which should get all Charlie Hunnam fans drooling since he's been absent from the small screen and his role in Sons of Anarchy for far too long. Newswire: Wedding Crashers’ David Dobkin to direct Disney’s “trapped in a toy store” movie

Disney has been fighting to make a movie about a kid who gets trapped in a toy store overnight since at least 2014, when Will Ferrell and his Gary Sanchez Productions company were developing the project with Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink. By 2015, though, Pink and Ferrell were both off the film, which had been named Overnight At 42nd Street, and Napoleon Dynamite’s Jared Hess had stepped up to direct it instead. Now, nearly two years since then, Variety is reporting that Disney has brought in Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin to helm the project—which is now going by the simpler title Overnight.

Variety doesn’t say what happened to Hess, but it does have slightly more details about the plot. Apparently, it’s about “a father and son who win a contest to spend a night in a lavish toy store” and then have ...

Hardcore Disney fans may know about a few of these upcoming films, but Disney has updated its slate for 2017 with new photos and details of films for the coming year. Here’s what to expect from the mega studio that also releases films from Marvel, Pixar and LucasFilm.


Coming out on March 17 , “Beauty and the Beast” is the newest of Disney’s live action remakes, following “Tarzan” and “The Jungle Book.” The classic tale of romance, trust, and cursed furniture will be told to viewers in an entirely new way. Belle, played by Emma Watson, is captured by Dan Stevens‘ the Beast, a ferocious but misunderstood hermit whose only companions are talking clocks, teapots, and the like. Disney in Talks With David Dobkin to Direct Toy Store Movie ‘Overnight’

Disney is in talks with David Dobkin, director of Robert Downey, Jr.’s “The Judge,” to come on board family adventure “Overnight.”

Neal H. Moritz and Ori Marmur are producing through their Original Films company. The script, by Oren Uziel, is based on a father and son who win a contest to spend a night in a lavish toy store — which gets hit by burglars on the same night.

Variety reported “Napoleon Dynamite” director Jared Hess was attached to direct “Overnight” last year but he has since fallen out. The project, which Disney picked up in turnaround from Sony, was originally planned as a starring vehicle for Will Ferrell when Gary Sanchez Productions was involved as a producer.

No actors have been cast yet for “Overnight.”

David Dobkin, best known for directing the 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers, is in negotiations to helm Overnight, a family adventure project from Disney.

Neal H. Moritz and Ori Marmur, who are coming off the release of the Chris Pratt-Jennifer Lawrence sci-fi movie Passengers, are producing via their Original Film company.
