With 2013 being the 75th anniversary of Superman and Man of Steel scheduled to come out this summer it was a forgone conclusion DC would release their emblematic direct to home media animated feature this year. DC certainly has been more successful than their marvelous competition at translating their classic stories to this format. Superman: Unbound however, ends up being a mediocre entry for this franchise. With a limited scope and a stereotypical plot it adds nothing to the Superman mythos. It feels less like an extended feature and more like a pilot episode of an upcoming television series. Viva Pictures has released a trailer and a clip for their animated adventure Top Cat: The Movie, based on the classic Hanna-Barbara prime time sitcom from the 1960s. The story follows T.C., the leader of an alley cat gang living in Hoagy's Alley. Check out the first footage from this feline family comedy, before its limited release on August 2.

The actress calls from New York with laryngitis, which is kind of ironic considering she plays the daughter of a famous trailer narrator who aspires to become that industry’s first successful female voiceover artist in her directorial debut, “In a World. . .,” which won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at Sundance.
Though the daddy issues are made up, Bell truly is obsessed with accents and vocal trends in general. After attending drama school in England, “I came out to L.A. with this really fat demo CD of all the voices I could do,” she recalls.
