Cathy DeBuono played "M'Pella" on Star Trek series Deep Space Nine. She was originally hired as Dax's (Terry Farrell) photo-double. In addition to doubling Dax and playing the role of M'Pella, Cathy played The Breen, a Vulcan Baseball Player, and a Klingon Warrior for the last 3 seasons of the series.
She has been diagnosed with ADD and takes medication to help. This is mentioned on her AfterEllen.com Blog called Whats Your Problem.
