Once Upon a Time is going to give us some dirt on Belle’s past next season.

“We are going to meet Belle’s mother,” executive producer Adam Horowitz tells EW. “For the first time, we’ll delve into Belle’s past pre-the encounter with Rumple.”

That means as we learn Belle’s history before meeting new hubby Rumplestiltskin, we’re finally going to find out who Sir Maurice was married to.

Who should play Belle’s mom in the upcoming fourth season of the ABC fairy tale drama? Lucy Lawless is our dream choice, though she hasn’t actually been cast. »

As previously reported, E! Online delivered their latest spoiler chat session and dished out new spoilers for the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" season 4 in regards to Belle and Gold aka Rumpelstiltskin. It turns out that we'll see Gold and Belle be content in the very first episode. However, after that, things are going to take a downward spiral. In their spoiler chat reveal, they stated when asked if Bella and Gold will be happy: "Don't bet on it! Robert Carlyle (Gold) teases that they'll be content "maybe in the first episode, but then that's it." Wah! Emilie De Ravin (Belle) points out that Gold is "bipolar" and we shouldn't start thinking he's a good guy. Double wah! Oh, and I have no idea what this means, but when I asked what the trending hashtag might be for the season premiere, Robert said "#Dance." So clearly, Gold will twerk. Duh. »

10 August 2014 12:00 AM, PDT | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Just because Once Upon a Time is a show about fairytale characters doesn't mean that the relationships can all have that fairytale happy ending so fast. Uneasy times are coming for a couple of relationships this season, as the cast previewed at San Diego Comic-Con this year.

Jennifer Morrison, Colin O'Donoghue, Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin sat down with reporters to discuss their characters' relationships. The honeymoon's not going to last for long for Rumple and Belle, and Emma and Hook's relationship can be described only as a Facebook status at the moment. »

'Once Upon A Time's' Robert Carlyle and Emilie De Ravin muse Elsa's origins

29 July 2014 9:26 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

San Diego - As 'Once Upon A Time' gears up for its fourth season, the cast made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con to tease the future of Storybrooke's citizens. Newlyweds Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) joked about their fallout when season three secrets are inevitably revealed. "I could just take them off [Belle's stilettos] and use them as weapons," de Ravin said. But when it comes to the biggest secret — the arrival of "Frozen's" Elsa — even the stars are in the dark. Carlyle admitted Rumple's history with Arendelle's queen is a mystery. "There's a lot of things in that vault I had no idea about. I genuinely don't know. Obviously he knows her, she knows him […] but I don't yet know what that relationship is," he said. On the subject of Rumpelstiltskin's tendency to keep volatile things under lock and key, de Ravin has a plan to keep »

As the place where Hollywood now launches the marketing campaigns around its upcoming films, TV shows and videogames — like “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” to smaller films like “The Giver” and “Horns,” along with new and returning TV shows “Game of Thrones,” “Flash” and “Gotham” — this year’s Comic-Con revealed the runaway successes and upcoming headaches for the industry’s marketers.

Here are the biggest takeaways from the fanfest that wrapped Sunday:

“Jupiter” Descending: Warner Bros. had a bigger problem beyond the need to complete special effects sequences when it made a last minute decision to move sci-fi actioner “Jupiter Ascending” from the summer to February 2015: a lack of interest in the movie. A trip to San Diego’s Comic-Con won’t help. A presentation in which star Channing Tatum’s mic didn’t work and the Wachowski siblings weren’t present, »
