You will be seeing plenty more of supermodel Bar Paly in the near future if director Michael Bay has anything to do with it. She is his female lead for the upcoming project Pain and Gain for the Paramount studio.
The film unfolds as a group of bodybuilders conspire to unleash a crime spree on unsuspecting Floridians. There will be kidnapping, extortion, and even murder according to the Variety report.
The Israeli supermodel Bar Paly will hopefully drum up some chemistry with her co-star, Mark Wahlberg. Neither actor should have any trouble there, right? Monk actor Tony Shalhoub, Dwayne Johnson, and Ed Harris are also on the cast. Sounds like a bunch of A-listers to me. The film is based on a true story.
This isn’t the first pin-up Michael Bay has hired. He also put Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Paly has appeared in The Ruins, »

While it was long rumored and many assumed it to be happening, there wasn't any official confirmation on Michael Bay returning to the money-making film franchise, Transformers. Paramount has issued a press release now that confirms Bay has signed on with them for a 2 picture deal, one of them is Transformers 4, which now has a release date to boot.
File this in the "I'm not surprised" news bin. With as much money as that franchise has made, I don't think anyone really believed Michael Bay wouldn't be back for more Transformers (even though I'd really love to see what someone else would do for the franchise). With all the talks about the movie happening, it was only a matter of time before he signed on for another.
Like I said, Paramount has issued a PR statement announcing that the director has been hired on for a 2-picture deal. The »

It’s part of Michael Bay’s new 2-picture deal with Paramount just announced to include Pain And Gain and of course Transformers 4. I understand that all the talent are deferring their compensation in return for big back ends from Paramount: Michael Bay, Mark Wahlberg, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It’s to keep Pain And Gain at the sure-thing $25 million budget level. Interesting, because both Wahlberg and Johnson are coming off hit 2012 movies (Contraband and Journey 2, respectively) so could have asked for a sky-high salary this time around — and didn’t. The film will shoot in Miami and production starts this April. Based on a true story, Pain And Gain follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida first told in an article from the Miami New Times. The live-action Jetsons movie is set to get a rewrite. Variety reports that Warner Bros. has hired Van Robichaux and Evan Susser (Chewie) to pen its adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera TV toon. The long-gestating project will be produced by Donald De Line and Denise Di Novi. A recent draft was written by Adam F. Goldberg.
The story will focus on "the life and times of George, Jane, Judy, and Elroy Jetson." The Jetsons first aired in 1962 as Hanna-Barbera's futuristic answer to The Flintstones. In 1990, Warner Bros released a cartoon version of the show directed by Joseph Barbera.
I always like The Jetsons and The Flintstones and am interested in seeing a live-action take on this. Let's hope it is a lot better than the live-action Flintstones. What are your thoughts on this news?
