Big Brother Day 25: Who had a good day, and who had a bad day?

7 June 2015 7:10 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Last night's Big Brother saw the house take part in a Return to Sender task, which to no surprise resulted in a few tears.

Following the present-swapping and Eileen Daly's exit, it seems that the housemates are finding it harder to hide just how irritating they find a couple of their living companions.

Read on for our daily verdict of who we thought handled the day well, and who struggled to make a good impression.

Good Day

Chloe Wilburn

After her argument with Simon Gross the day before, it would have been easy for Chloe to accept Simon's gift of a message from home during the Return to Sender task. However, after listening to Simon's confusing speech ("I could really do with this right now"), she decided to let Mr Showbiz keep the prize for himself.

Chloe could have taken the message and prepared for a possible meltdown from Simon, »

Big Brother: Sam reveals she has feelings for someone as the house gets irritated

6 June 2015 8:02 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

A new romance could be brewing in the Big Brother house as Sam Kay reveals she has a soft spot for a certain fellow housemate.

However, what Sam doesn't know is that her behaviour is starting to grate on Danny Wisker, the object of her affection.

In scenes airing tonight (June 6), Danny tells Big Brother that Sam is trying too hard to fit in to the group.

Sam then opens up to Chloe Wilburn, saying that she does have feelings about Danny but she doesn't get any alone time with him.

Blaming the distance on the fact Marc O'Neill is always "on her like a rash", Sam then admits that she thinks Danny "is a babe".

Meanwhile, the housemates are getting more and more annoyed with Sam, believing that she is greedy with food.

6 June 2015 8:00 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Big Brother's Eileen Daly is full of praise for her former housemate Harry Amelia.

Eileen was evicted in last night's (June 5) show ahead of 19-year-old Joel Williams. However, she had kind words to say about Harry Amelia.

Big Brother Eileen Daly interview: "I will back Simon up all the way"

Speaking to Digital Spy and others, Eileen said: "But even when I'm talking to her and she's in the nude, I thought, 'I like what you're standing for. I like how you think'.

Eileen said that she formed a real bond with Harry and admitted that it was hard to leave her behind.

"So I liked her values, and I took up a real bond with her. I like her profession, I like glamour girls. And I think she works really hard. I took a shine to her. In the end, I thought it was hard to leave her. »

Big Brother Eileen Daly interview: "I will back Simon up all the way"

Speaking to Digital Spy and others, Eileen said: "I think he's got a bit delusional, it's got to his head.

"But to tell you the truth, at the end of the day, he's a very, very nice man. He came in, it's a big journey for him, and I will back Simon up all the way.

"I'll be rooting for him. If I'm not waiting outside the gates, I'll be waiting for him when he gets home, because I think everyone deserves a chance."

Big Brother Day 24: Who had a good day, and who had a bad day?

6 June 2015 5:42 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Last night's Big Brother saw Eileen Daly say goodbye to the house as she was evicted ahead of Joel.

Most of the highlights focused on Simon's ongoing drama. There was more nudity and moaning about nominations, but it was a pretty quiet day otherwise.

Who did well and who showed their bad side? Read on for our daily verdict...

Good Day

Marc O'Neill

Marc has never been one to shy away from controversy, as the past week has shown. But we saw his good side, and it was lovely to see.

Firstly, he went to the Diary Room to tell Big Brother that he was genuinely worried about Simon, and assured that Simon is just very insecure. Although Simon "brings it on himself", he is not a bad person. Marc and Danny then support Simon in the Diary Room when he discusses his feelings about the recent fight with Chloe. »

Big Brother's Eileen Daly explains Jade feud: "She irritated me a little"

5 June 2015 4:09 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Big Brother's Eileen Daly has explained the cause of her feud with Jade.

Daly opened up about her rivalry with her fellow contestant while appearing on Big Brother's Bit on the Side tonight (June 5).

Big Brother twist: Fake eviction looms and historic housemates will return

"I don't know why Jade and I didn't connect. I thought I connected with Jade until she said, 'We're two spiritual people, and I'm the only one who's going to be the spirit in the house'," she recalled.

"And I got cross with her, and I said no... I don't really have hidden talents or ouija boards. I don't really know what she was talking about.... I still don't really see eye to eye with Jade, and I don't know why.

"And she irritated me a little, if I'm going to be honest - just a few mannerisms which I thought was a little bit [for the cameras]. And it was [her] walk. »

Big Brother: Eileen Daly is evicted

5 June 2015 2:08 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Eileen Daly has exited the Big Brother house as a result of tonight's (June 5) eviction.

The 51-year-old was up against 19-year-old Joel Williams, in what was only the second regular eviction of the series.

Exiting to the sound of Dexys Midnight Runners' 'Come On Eileen', the X Factor auditionee thanked the crowd as she was met with a mixture of cheers and boos.

"I feel elevated, actually," she told host Emma Willis. "I really did miss my [partner] Bo."

"It was a wonderful time - it was elevating and a really intense atmosphere," she said of her time in the house.

"[But] at first I found it very difficult being the age that I am."

"Facing eviction every week has been quite difficult... you pack, and that's okay, but it's like Stockholm syndrome.

"All you believe in is in the house and you are fearful of going outside the house," Daly explained, »

Eileen Daly and Joel Williams have been thrown a goodbye party as this week's Big Brother eviction looms.

In tonight's (June 5) highlights, Sam Kay and Simon Gross are tasked by Big Brother to plan a farewell shindig in honour of either Eileen or Joel's imminent departure.

In the evening, Simon dresses in drag as Miss Crystal Canary, while Sam has written a song for the party.

Eileen and Joel then make speeches. "I made some very good friends here," says Eileen. "And I'm honoured to be here with you for the experience."

"It's been an amazing experience for me," Joel adds. "It's something that I have treasured and which I would like to continue."

Later on, Joel shares his thoughts on the eviction, musing: "I feel cheated. I didn't think I deserved it. I think I will go tomorrow."

Big Brother's Simon threatens to quit (again): "I'm emotionally at rock bottom"

5 June 2015 7:25 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Simon Gross has threatened to leave the Big Brother house once again.

In tonight's (June 5) highlights, Mr Showbiz continues to bicker with Chloe Wilburn after making comments about her to Danny Wisker.

"I've got some 20-year-old calling me a reject and a flop who can't even speak properly," he complains to Danny in the bedroom. "How dare she talk to me like that?"

Chloe, hearing her name being mentioned, approaches and asks if they're talking about her.

When Chloe expresses annoyance at the fact that Simon is revisiting the previous day's argument, Simon tells her: "I don't like you."

Simon repeats this, upsetting Chloe as she feels she has made an effort to be civil with him. Jade Lynch comes in and tells Simon that if he feels the house is that bad, then he should just leave.

Joel then talks to Simon and defends Chloe, telling him: "You crave attention. »

Big Brother was turned into the Beta Beta frat house for the housemates' task yesterday, airing on tonight's show (June 3).

The task saw Marc O'Neill, Cristian Mjc, Harry Amelia and Nick Henderson become Brothers of Beta Beta, which meant other contestants became Pledges and had to earn their place in the fraternity.

The Pledges had to obey rules set by Brothers, such as "Pledges must cook all meals" and "Pledges must clean up after Brothers".

Marc also introduced rules that meant Pledges were forced to laugh at his jokes, stoop when addressing him and do push-ups whenever he demanded.

The first part of the task saw the eight Pledges attached to a shock pad, answering Big Brother's questions as truthfully as they could.

Big Brother Day 21: Who had a good day, and who had a bad day?

3 June 2015 3:43 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Last night's Big Brother saw Simon and Sam complete this week's nominations, which left Eileen and Joel to face the public vote. The tension surrounding the nominations had been brewing, so it was unsurprising to see people getting feisty and emotional in the aftermath.

Who came out of all the drama well, and who might need to turn things around a bit? Read on for our daily verdict...

Good Day

Eileen Daly

Birthday girl Eileen was royally "f**ked off", as she put it, when she learned she got nominated the previous day. And though she continued to make her anger clear, especially when it was confirmed that Simon had put her up for eviction as she suspected, we liked that she stood up for herself and made her presence known.

At the same time, she was wise enough not to take it too far. Whether she believed Simon was acting or not, »

Big Brother's Joel Williams has been put up for eviction alongside fellow housemate Eileen Daly.

The nominations were decided by Simon Gross and Sam Kay. They also named Jack McDermott, but he used his last remaining immunity pass to save himself.

Sam explained in the Diary Room that their joint nomination for Jack was "tactical".

"Jack's got his immunity card, so he can use that," she said, before adding that Jack sharing his gambling issues was also a factor.

Simon told Sam that it was important for Jack to be nominated so he can "have a bit of responsibility".

The pair then together nominated Joel, with Sam explaining: "I just love Joel so much, but with regards to dynamics and synergy... I love him to bits, but I want him to enjoy himself more."

Simon added: "He doesn't drink, but he doesn't contribute much to the evening either. He's »

Big Brother's Simon and Sam put Eileen up for eviction: 'She doesn't contribute to the house'

1 June 2015 7:14 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Simon Gross and Sam Kay have been given the power to decide who will be nominated for this Friday's Big Brother eviction.

The pair were called to the Diary Room along with Marc O'Neill and Harry Amelia Martin, where they were all told that they are immune this week.

They also learned that Simon and Sam have been chosen by the viewers to have the final say on who will face the public vote. The four of them must keep this a secret from the rest of the house to remain immune.

Simon raised the possibility of nominating Eileen Daly and Jack McDermott to Sam.

"Eileen doesn't contribute to the house, so for me, that's why she should go," he said. "All she has done today is just sit on the bed.

"Jack sits around a lot. If we nominated him, he will just use his immunity pass."

Big Brother Day 18: Who had a good day, and who had a bad day?

Big Brother chucked a massive twist into the house when four non-nominated housemates were evicted and replaced with three new eager faces as well as the unforgettable Simon 'Showbiz' Gross.

As the aftermath of the eviction aired on our screens last night (May 30), it's been made quite obvious that one new housemate in particular isn't afraid to stir the house up.

Read on for our verdict on who had a good day in the house, and who struggled to make a positive impression.

Good Day

Jade Lynch

It's fair to say that Jade has had her fair share of conflict in the Big Brother house, but we think that Marc O'Neill's arrival could bring out a different side to the model.

Despite her past with Eileen Daly, Jade comforted her over Sally and Amy Broadbent's departure, something that she could have quite easily avoided doing.

Big Brother shock: Four housemates are getting evicted and four new ones are coming in

27 May 2015 3:18 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

It's all change in the Big Brother house this week, as four current housemates will be evicted on Friday (May 29) to be replaced by brand new ones.

Rylan Clark revealed the shock twist on Big Brother's Bit On the Side tonight (May 27).

Big Brother Timebomb: Who's having a good day and who's having a bad day?

The news comes after the earlier announcement that the housemates nominated this week are actually safe from eviction.

That means Aaron Frew, Cristian Mjc, Eileen Daly, Jade Lynch, Joel Williams and Nick Henderson definitely won't be leaving on Friday. Jack McDermott used one of his immunity passes and is also safe.

Aside from Jack, the housemates not originally nominated - Chloe Wilburn, Danny Wisker, Harriet Jackson, Kieran McLeod, Sarah Greenwood and Amy and Sally Broadbent - will face the public vote and four of them will be going home.

They had to cast a vote independently, without communicating with each other, before Sarah, Joel and Jack in the Diary Room tried to guess the majority answer.

Big Brother has lined up a shocking nominations twist - and only Jack McDermott knows.

Big Brother: Timebomb - Who's having a good day and who's having a bad day?

That means Aaron Frew, Cristian Mjc, Eileen Daly, Jade Lynch, Joel Williams and Nick Henderson definitely won't be leaving on Friday (May 29).

Instead, the housemates not originally nominated - Chloe Wilburn, Danny Wisker, Harriet Jackson, Kieran McLeod, Sarah Greenwood, Amy and Sally Broadbent, and Jack himself - will face the public vote.

Jack is offered the opportunity to use one of his immunity passes to save himself or another housemate. He decides to grant himself immunity for this week's eviction.

Big Brother Day 14: Who had a good day, and who had a bad day?

27 May 2015 3:51 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Is it just us or was last night's episode of Big Brother like classic Bb? It had everything: the twins' amazing discussion of food in the Diary Room ("Amy Pizza Broadbent"), Eileen crying about her dog not judging her, the brilliance of seeing everyone picking Jade during the nominations reveal, an argument about hairs in the bath, a game of hide and seek which ended with two hiders overhearing a conversation.

So we're very much enjoying the series, but who came out of last night's episode well and who didn't? It's time for our daily verdict...

Good Day

Nick Henderson

Nick had a bit of a wobble earlier this week when it looked like he was ditching Jade as soon as she became unpopular in the house - not cool, Nick - but he's managed to turn things around a bit lately.

Admittedly, no-one had a particularly good day yesterday, »
