So what if the Batman symbol was made out of fire in the poster for the last "Dark Knight" movie, too? Christopher Nolan brings the brooding, blistering heat in the final one-sheet for "The Dark Knight Rises," on display at, appropriately enough, Heat Vision.
Over the years, Bill Murray's on- and off-screen shenanigans have become legend; whether it's crashing a karaoke session or initiating a dance circle, he always leaves an imitable Murray impression. In honor of the "Moonrise Kingdom" star continuing to set the curve for cool, Moviefone takes a look at the Bill Murray Guide to Life.

ABC has renewed "Happy Endings." The cult favorite comedy will return for a third season, consisting of 22 episodes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series debuted strong on ABC to more than 7 million in April 2011, but quickly lost steam. After moving behind "Modern Family" during Season 2, "Happy Endings" found ratings success and built its audience. However, the Season 2 finale had 3.7 million viewers, but it aired without a "Modern Family" lead in.
"Happy Endings" stars Elisha Cuthbert as Alex, Eliza Coupe as Jane, Zachary Knighton as Dave, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans, Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny.
"Wife Swap" and "America's Funniest Home Videos" have also received orders for new seasons. ABC also recently renewed "Once Upon a Time," "The Middle," "Grey's Anatomy," "Suburgatory," "Castle," "Modern Family," "Dancing with the Stars," "Shark Tank" and "The Bachelor."

ABC has renewed Happy Endings for a third season of 22 episodes. The ensemble comedy received not one but two votes of confidence from ABC topper Paul Lee, when it scored the plum post-Modern Family time slot this season and landed an additional six-episode order in October. The series starring Casey Wilson, Zach Knighton, Elisha Cuthbert, Damon Wayans Jr., Eliza Coupe and Adam Pally ranks as the network's No. 2 scripted comedy this season, with showrunner David Caspe telling THR that he was cautiously optimistic the critical darling would earn a third-season renewal. "I’m probably not freaking

'Happy Endings' started its run with alter bound couple Dave (Zachary Knighton) and Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) breaking up and having their friends choose sides. Well, after the finale, they may be back together. A-mah-zing!
There were far more relationship issues than in the usual "Happy Endings" episode. Of course, it took place at a wedding, which can mess up even the most together people. Penny's buddies Eric and Derick were getting married, and as usual, it's a mess. Penny (Casey Wilson) was stuck at the Skype table after her boyfriend (of the week) broke up with her for saying his sister had "sloppy yabbos." Max (Adam Pally) was a mess because he thought he'd gained too much weight to perform with his old Madonna cover band "Mandonna." Brad (Damon Wayans Jr.) got fired and didn't know how to tell Jane (Eliza Coupe).

After hinting at an Penny (Casey Wilson) and Dave (Zach Knighton) might get together throughout Happy Endings' second season, the series went in another direction at the end of Wednesday's finale, which seemed to have Dave and former fiancee Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) headed for a reconciliation. Penny finally came to terms with her feelings for Dave and resolved to tell Alex first. Instead, she walked in on what looked like an intimate moment between Alex and Dave at Derrick's (Stephen Guarino) wedding. The miscommunication prompted Alex and Dave to question if something really was going on -- and sent Penny into

Elisha Cuthbert is ready to slip back into her Kim Bauer running shoes. The "Happy Endings" star told The Hollywood Reporter she is all set to reprise her breakout role.
Cuthbert, who has spent two seasons on ABC's "Happy Endings," was a series regular on "24" for the first three seasons and returned to the show as a recurring player as star Kiefer Sutherland's character's daughter.
"I know Kiefer is busy working on his show," Cuthbert told The Hollywood Reporter. "I think it's all pretty much there and ready to go, it's just a matter of when he wants to do it. When Happy Endings' fast-tracked second season comes to a close on Wednesday night, it caps off an exceptionally funny run for Elisha Cuthbert's Alex. Going into the series with the smallest comedy resume of the cast and playing a heartbreaker runaway bride in the pilot, Cuthbert spent most of the freshman season playing something of a straight man. "I wanted to incorporate some new things about Alex I hadn't gotten the chance to," Cuthbert tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I was trying to redeem her as the nice girl again after leaving Dave (Zach Knighton) at the altar. I

When ABC’s Happy Endings concludes its second season one week from tonight, not only will there be the sound of wedding bells, there will be the sound of Madonna — as interpreted by Max. Turns out, Derrick (Stephen Guarino) is getting hitched to his boyfriend Eric (Nate Smith), and persuades Max (Adam Pally) to reunite with his all-male Madonna cover band, appropriately and awesomely titled Mandonna, for a gig at the reception. The result? An unusual performance of “Like A Prayer” led by Max, who will be seen sporting “fingerless gloves, a long cross earring, some blond highlights, and, of course, »

On the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, actress Elisha Cuthbert (best known for her role as Kim Bauer on 24) plays Alex, an everyday normal girl who remains friends with the guy she bailed on, on their wedding day. A year later, Alex and Dave (Zachary Knighton) are still trying to figure out just where their relationship stands, after a break-up that complicated the lives of all their mutual friends. Created by executive producer David Caspe, the series also stars Eliza Coupe as Jane, Adam Pally as Max, Damon Wayans Jr. as Brad and Casey Wilson as Penny. During this recent interview to promote the show, Elisha Cuthbert talked about her favorite moment in an upcoming episode, her favorite episode of the series, how much fun she’s been having doing comedy, an outtake that she wishes had made it into the show, what she would like to see happen with the Alex and Dave relationship, »

Some of you may know that I'm, erm, protective when it comes to Anthony Perkins, the single most gorgeous-and-fragile-and-complex-and-intelligent star of the past hundred (thousand) years. But guess what? Hollywood understands my fearsome love, because it officially cast W.E.'s James D'Arcy, a total Perkins doppelganger with the same brooding vulnerability, as the man himself in Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, an adaptation of Stephen Rebello's juicy behind-the-scenes look at The Master of Suspense's most famous film. Not to brag, but I called D'Arcy's resemblance to Perkins way back in August. He's Perkins + a soupcon of Patrick Wilson. Sold.
As previously announced, Hitchcock will be played by Anthony Hopkins, his wife Alma by Helen Mirren, and the cool Janet Leigh by Scarlett Johansson. I'm down with Hopkins and Mirren, but the Johansson casting strikes me as a bit off. This leads me to today's topic: Which »

9 Great Posters for 9 Not-So-Great Movies (that I Haven't Seen) If you missed it, yesterday I explored 11 great posters from 11 not-so-great movies, and I promised today I would take a slightly different angle at the same idea. Yesterday's 11 posters were for films I had seen, today's collection come from nine films I have never seen and I can't take full credit for this list. After I had compiled a list of my own I reached out to a few friends and one of them provided me a Ton of suggestions, several of which I had never seen. David Frank, who used to provide content on a regular basis for me, is a big poster buff and of the nine posters here, he suggested seven of them. As for the other two, well, I'll explain below and perhaps in too much detail on one of them. This list also differs from my »

Happy Endings is one of the kookiest sleeper hit sitcoms in recent years. The Chicago-set series is both wacky and unpretentious, and that combination helps the friendships between its six ensemble characters (played by Casey Wilson, Eliza Coupe, Elisha Cuthbert, Damon Wayans Jr., Zachary Knighton, and Adam Pally) seem real. It's hard not to dig everyone involved.
I got to catch up with five of the six thespians this week -- only Adam Pally wasn't there -- and I asked about the show's greatest assets: its fun characters, its frantic pace, and its daring weirdness.
One of my favorite things about Happy Endings is that the show never tries to establish each of you as a separate type. No one is "the quirky one." You all get to be insane and similar, but with sly differences, like real friends. That said: What do you think distinguishes your character?

Last night on Conan, Elisha Cuthbert was a total goofball: She slurped an imaginary pudding, acted out a puke-and-drive, and impersonated Ellen DeGeneres's dance moves. Plus: Joel McHale fretted over Community's competing TV lineup on the Thursday 8 p.m. time slot: "We're up against the Big Bang Theory, I don't know what network that's on," he bluffed. "Not up against March Madness or American Idol, we should be fine. No big deal!" And Laura Prepon took Geoff Stults's virginity ... twice. Watch our compilation to see what you missed. »
