'The Big Bang Theory': Meet Leonard's high school bully

22 November 2011 11:42 AM, PST | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Ever wonder why Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is the way he is? Well, we've met his mother in the past, so that explains part of his problems. And now we'll get to meet his high school bully.

EW is reporting that Lance Barber is slated to play the bane of Leonard's teen existence on an upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory." Barber has had past stints on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "The Comeback."

It's been a tough year for Leonard, beginning with Raj (Kunal Nayyar) hooking up with his ex-girlfriend Penny (Kaley Cuoco). And it only got worse when he found out that his girlfrined Priya had cheated on him. Hopefully he's able to handle the stress of an unfriendly high school face.

The episode is slated to air Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. Et. »

Kaley Cuoco: No to 'Dancing With the Stars,' yes to 'Iron Chef'

21 November 2011 1:26 PM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Kaley Cuoco, Penny, of "The Big Bang Theory" gives an emphatic "absolutely not" when Zap2it asks if she would go on "Dancing With the Stars."

She's quick to add she's not putting down the show, but just never wants to be on it.

"I think for the people on the show, great," Cuoco says. "I just feel like if it ever came to that point, for me personally, it's just time to be done. I want to be an actor I don't want to be a celebrity."

Cuoco, however, isn't against all reality shows. She loves competition shows, especially "Project Runway," "The Biggest Loser" and "Top Chef."

"Iron Chef is a riot," she says. "I have been begging to go on that show and be a judge on 'Iron Chef.' They have different actors."

'The Big Bang Theory': Love on the rocks

17 November 2011 9:15 PM, PST | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

So this is what nerd love looks like. How quaint.

On Thursday's (Nov. 17) episode of "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) took their relationship to the next level, but it certainly wasn't without some very awkward bumps.

Amy, tired of the snail's pace of dating Sheldon, decides to play the field. It is here that she ends up going out with Stuart (Kevin Sussman) from the comic book shop. While Sheldon is initially unaffected by (or in denial of) this news, it clearly gets to him.

Looking to make Amy jealous, he decides to ask Penny (Kaley Cuoco) out on a date. Penny has the common sense to immediately decline, but she does choose to help him figure out how to get Amy back.

Sheldon, never one to be sensitive to the situation, essentially interrupts Amy's date with Stuart. It is here he says the »

'The Big Bang Theory': Regression analysis

10 November 2011 5:59 PM, PST | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

It appears that the working title for this week's episode of "The Big Bang Theory" was "They Can't All Be Winners."

[Spoiler alerting time]

In Thursday's (Nov. 10) show, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) try to make a go of it as friends. This, of course, poses a challenge for the one-time couple and (if you're a betting person) future item. The two go out for a movie and a couple of cocktails. But the haze of their former relationship hangs over the evening. They ultimately spend the night out trying to make each other jealous. And you can guess how this goes.

As for Sheldon (Jim Parsons), he's busy fighting with a bird. If there was anything more to write about this, it would be in here. But it had about all the excitement and humor of a typical Carrot Top routine.

Thursday's program was a major letdown over the high of last week's episode. »

"We're very non-fussy people, so it just was very low-key, casual," she added.
