Kaley Cuoco Doesn’T Take Success For Granted

25 December 2010 6:41 PM, PST | Fox All Access | See recent Fox All Access news »

Many actors and actresses that come to Hollywood dream about starring on a hit television show.  While most aspiring actors today have a better chance of winning the lottery, Kaley Cuoco, who stars on the CBS hit series, The Big Bang Theory as the loveable Penny, has hit the jackpot finding success on three hit shows.

Before starring on The Big Bang Theory, Cuoco starred on 8 Simple Rules (co-starring the late John Ritter and Katey Sagal), and had a recurring role on the fan favorite show, Charmed.  Cuoco tells us that she never takes being on a successful show for granted. (Click on the audio player below to hear Kaley Cuoco) Kelly Cuoco The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday nights 8/7 central on CBS.   Posted by: Ari Fischbach Follow us on Twitter:http://twitter.com/Foxallaccess Follow us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fox-All-Access/165263159779 »

Tracy Morgan To Miss Several Episodes Of '30 Rock' After Surgery

20 December 2010 4:08 PM, PST | Deadline TV | See recent Deadline TV news »

30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan will be Mia for 2-3 episodes airing in March as the actor is recuperating from a kidney transplant earlier this month. “Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery," a rep for the actor said, adding that Morgan will return to work on the NBC show after the holidays. Morgan, who is a diabetic, is the second principal cast member on a Thursday comedy series to take health-related break this season. In September, The Big Bang Theory co-star Kaley Cuoco was sidelined with a broken leg following a horseback accident. She ended up missing just 2 episodes of the hit CBS series. »

TV Stars Use Twitter to Promote Charities

19 December 2010 11:18 AM, PST | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Within the last year, there have been huge social media initiatives such as the TwitChange benefit for Haiti which raised over half a million dollars by auctioning off celebrity tweets, and the recent celebrity "Twitter death" charity to bring in dollars for AIDS research.

More and more TV stars, however, are finding creative ways to make Twitter work for them when it comes to promoting their favorite charities on a more personal level.

Last year, for example, veteran TV actress Alyssa Milano asked people to donate to Charity: Water in lieu of birthday gifts and successfully raised over $92,000 for the organization. Often times we hear of these massive amounts of dollars raised, but never get to witness the actual results of the effort.

For Milano's effort, however, she posted this information back in July with attached video showing that 18 communities and 4,628 people were provided clean water in Ethiopia using the »

'The Big Bang Theory' Co-Star Kunal Nayyar Gets Salary Bump Too

17 December 2010 2:13 PM, PST | Deadline TV | See recent Deadline TV news »

Exclusive: Just in times for the holidays, The Big Bang Theory co-star Kunal Nayyar has reached a new salary agreement with the series producer Warner Bros. TV, meaning that all five principal cast members of the hit CBS comedy series have now received substantial raises. I hear Nayyar will be paid around $75,000 an episode, up from about $25,000 he has been getting under his current deal. Nayyar was the least known of the quintet when Big Bang launched and thus started off lower than the others, who were most recently at about $40,000 (Simon Helberg) and about $60,000 (stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco). There had been talk that, just like Galecki, Parsons and Cuoco did, supporting players Nayyar and Helberg might get "favored nations" deals with equal financial terms. But that notion was put into doubt when only Helberg closed his deal a month ago to go up to over $100,000 an episode. »

'The Big Bang Theory's' Kaley Cuoco sings for the Humane Society

17 December 2010 12:49 PM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

We love when multitalented people use their powers for good! When "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco was laid up in the hospital after her terrifying horseback riding accident, she decided to put her downtime to good use.

Her boyfriend, Christopher French -- the super-cute lead singer of Annie Automatic -- hung with her in the hospital, and when she asked him to play the guitar for her, she sang along to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Though Cuoco usually keeps her singing behind closed doors, she decided to release the song as a single to benefit the humane society.

They recorded the song in Cuoco's living room with help from her younger sister, Bri, who caught the whole thing on video. You can purchase the single and all proceeds will go to the Humane Society of the United States to support homeless dogs, a cause very close to Cuoco's heart. »

The Big Bang Theory Review: "The Justice League Recombination"

17 December 2010 6:40 AM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

This episode reminded me of why I love The Big Bang Theory

Sure, it didn't deliver the strongest storyline in the show's history, and it was the only recent one I can think of without a B-story, but it had me laughing out loud the entire time.

Most of that was thanks to the ridiculousness of Zack.  Could someone this dumb, nice and genuinely interested in being friends with our nerds exist?  Possibly.  Nerds are cool now and reverse bullying after high school definitely exists.  Plus, this is a sitcom and characterizations are allowed.

Watching a toned-down Sheldon play off Zack's stupidity was more than enough material for the half hour.  But as if the jokes weren't enough to give "The Justice League Recombination" our highest rating of the season... Penny dressed as Wonder Woman.

Maybe I'm just a geek with nerdboy fetishes, but Kaley Cuoco was only just cute »

The Big Bang Theory s4e11 review

"The Justice League Recombination"

The Big Bang Theory sends its nerd male adherents off to Christmas pretty happy this week, by squeezing Kaley Cuoco into a tight Wonder Woman costume; but most female fans will have to make do with the foam muscles of Sheldon and Co., who are determined to scoop this year's comic store New Year's Eve Group Costume prize by turning up with a genuine girl and a guy with real muscles.

Yep, Penny's back with Zack, the man with almost infinite Final Frontier between the ears; but it's better than being alone on New Year's Eve. And surely a primate like Zack has no feelings to hurt anyway...?

Not so, as the geeks gang up on him at the episode's start when he declares that he wants to 'talk science' with them. A subsequent and hilarious apology - largely effected by a box of Milk Duds »

‘Hop’ starring James Marsden – teaser trailer review

Hop

Directed by: Tim Hill

Starring: James Marsden, Russell Brand, Kaley Cuoco

Rating: Nr

Release Date: April 1, 2011

Trailer Score: 5/10

My Thoughts: You don’t see a lot of movies about the Easter bunny these days… or really ever now that I think about it. Sadly, this teaser trailer is no exception. I read the synopsis and thought it sounded like a cute Easter version of The Santa Clause with a solid cast. Well, truth be told, after watching this teaser trailer, I still can’t really tell you what it’s about or about how this trailer uses the cast. I can tell you one thing though. I like Blur. You know, the band? So I was excited that there was a cute little CG bunny playing Blur, but “Song 2″ (known as “Woo Hoo” to most people) is used in just about every action montage from the late 90s so »

What do you get when you combine a fluffy animated bunny, a drum set and Blur's Song 2? One adorable teaser trailer for Universal's spring release, Hop. The comic film tells the tale of Fred (voiced by James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Cineplex Blog fave Russell Brand) and must take him in as the iconic Bunny convalesces. Turns out the Easter Bunny is a less-than-perfect houseguest and as Fred struggles to put up with him, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.

In addition to Marsden and Brand, Hop also has a great supporting cast including Kaley Cuoco, Elizabeth Perkins and Hugh Laurie.
