Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are both nominated for Hottie awards at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. While Cyrus competes against Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kate Upton in Female Hottie category, Hemsworth faces off the likes of Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Ian Somerhalder and Ryan Gosling in Male Hottie category.
The former "Hannah Montana" star is also nominated for Choice Fashion Icon: Female. Her rivals include such high-fashion celebrities as Perry, Nicki Minaj, Zooey Deschanel and Jennifer Lopez. As for Male Fashion Icon, Bieber, Chris Colfer, Cee-Lo Green, Justin Timberlake and will.i.am are all set to face against one another.
In Music, Bieber has to face strong contenders like Drake, Bruno Mars, Pitbull and Blake Shelton for the coveted Choice Male Artist award. Meanwhile, the likes of Perry, Lopez, Adele, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are all vying for the top prize of Choice Female Artist. »

Fox has announced the first wave of Teen Choice Award nominees, with "The Vampire Diaries" on The CW and "American Idol" on Fox leading the pack.
"The Vampire Diaries," starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder, earned six nominations, while the singing competition show "American Idol" racked up five.
The CW's "Gossip Girl" also managed to pull in a few nominations, as did Fox's "Fringe" and "Glee."

The Teen Choice Awards has released its first wave of nominees for the 2012 awards show, which will air Sunday, July 22, on Fox. The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" leads the pack of nominees with six nominations, while "Boyfriend" singer Justin Bieber and Fox's "American Idol" each got five nominations.
And just when you thought they couldn't come up with any more categories for the already lengthy list, the show has added Choice Book and Choice Electronic Dance Music (Edm) Artist.
Starting Friday (May 18), fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite nominees on the Teen Choice Awards site.

Teen Choice Awards 2012 Nominees Announced
The first wave of nominees for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards have been announced and leading the way on the TV side are two decidedly different shows. Tied with six nominations apiece are The Vampire Diaries and American Idol, with everything from Fringe to Gossip Girl picking up at least one nomination. Last year, The Vampire Diaries led all shows in number of wins, totaling five with victories for the show (Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Ian Somerhalder (Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Nina Dobrev (Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi), Kat Graham (Choice TV: Female Scene Stealer), and Michael Trevino (Choice TV: Male Scene Stealer).
Listed below are the first round of TV nominations. Before last year's ceremony, another round was released three weeks following the first round and included categories like Choice Summer TV Show and Choice TV: Breakout Star.

American Idol and The Vampire Diaries lead this year’s Teen Choice award nominations, netting five apiece.
Gossip Girl and Nikita follow with four, while NCIS: Los Angeles badass Linda Hunt, 67, is poised to repeat in the TV Actress/Action category, provided she can once again best the kick-butt quartet of Maggie Q (Nikita), Lyndsy Fonseca (Nikita), Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) and Grace Park (Hawaii Five-0).
Once Upon a Time, Revenge and New Girl are among the freshman shows to break into the pack.

Despite all the obstacles in their way, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) got hitched on Thursday (May 10). "The Big Bang Theory" wedding was an intimate affair with some very nice touches, especially the group officiation and the satellite photography.
While one couple has wed, there's still potential for a lot more love on the show. Although Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) heat-of-the-moment proposal to Penny (Kaley Cuoco) didn't land quite like he'd hoped, it's clear that those two aren't done yet. And then, in a show of emotion atypical for Sheldon (Jim Parsons), he held hands (gasp!) with Amy (Mayim Bialik) as they watched Howard get blasted into space.
So this got us thinking, which nerd couple might be the next to get hitched? Could Penny and Leonard really make it together? Perhaps Sheldon will realize he has feelings after all, and Amy might be the one for him? Or »

With the wedding of the century (or at least the week) just around the corner, things were bound to go a little haywire on "The Big Bang Theory." And sure enough, complications began to emerge on Thursday (May 3).
[Spoiler Alert]
Everything actually started off just fine for Howard (Simon Helberg). The nervous flyer got some good news when he learns that his trip to space has (at least momentarily) been canceled. But the problem kicks back in when Nasa calls to reschedule his flight for the same weekend he's to marry Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). While she's ok with changing the wedding date, Howard then needs to secure the approval of her father. And that offers some unexpected results.
For those rooting for Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco), there's some good news and some bad news. The good news is Leonard asks Penny to marry him. The bad news is he asks her during sex. »

Such was the appeal to the female stars of CBS' long-running Wednesday series "Criminal Minds" -- Paget Brewster, A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness -- when they participated earlier this year in a photo shoot for the June issue of CBS Watch! Magazine.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Tysons Corner, Va. (just outside Washington, D.C.), proved to have all the swanky settings needed for the shoot's storyline casting the women as high-class spies tailing an international bad guy.
Brewster, alias FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit agent Emily Prentiss on "Criminal Minds," says while on location for the occasion that the feel is "very film-noir, three undercover chicks taking down a James Bond-villain archetype. It's been really fun, and the stylists gave us great clothes, so we're excited. I think we're all buying one of our dresses!"

Looks like "Big Bang Theory Star" Kaley Cuoco has been having some fun this spring. She recently tweeted a bunch of pictures and comments from a vacation to Anguilla that has us green with envy - how much fun would a vacation with Kaley Cuoco be? She seems like a doll.

In a move that isn’t as surprising as it could be, Universal Studios delayed a DVD and Blu-ray release of their Easter-centric comedy Hop—starring Russell Brand, James Marsden, and Kaley Cuoco—until an entire year had passed and they could once again cash in on the holiday window. It says very little for a movie when a studio doesn’t have enough faith in a film to let it stand (or hop) on its own two feet, but for Hop it’s entirely understandable: the comedy has little merit save for its tie to the Hallmark-ified version of Easter. All Hop can boast is the same antics that have propelled Brand thus far, and the side character slapstick that these filmmakers shamelessly repeat in over and over.
