No one does it quite like Jennifer Lopez. While there were a slew of stylish stars in attendance at the 2013 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre on Nov. 24, JLo took the cake for showing off a total of five outfits throughout the entire night. When she wasn’t storming the stage, every inch of the 44-year-old star oozed divine diva in an embellished sheer, long-sleeved Zuhair Murad gown that hugged her figure. The bronze-beaded gown, from the Fall 2013 couture collection, featured a high neckline and a sexy open back — but it wasn’t long before she pulled a frock swap.

Don't drop J.Lo! Maksim Chmerkovskiy had the honor -- and huge responsibility -- of lifting Jennifer Lopez up in the air while performing together at the 2013 American Music Awards in L.A. on Sunday, Nov. 24. The 33-year-old former Dancing With the Stars pro joined the 44-year-old singer and her other backup dancers to give an unforgettable tribute to Cuban salsa performer Celia Cruz. Chmerkovskiy showed off his bare chest and muscles in an unbuttoned pink dress shirt while dancing alongside Lopez. The sexy songstress also flaunted [...] »
After paying tribute to salsa queen Celia Cruz and tearing it up "On the Floor" at the AMAs Sunday night, Jennifer Lopez continued to party well into the night. Lopez attended an after party at Chateau Marmont hosted by the owners of DSquared. The American Idol judge, whose Kohls campaign (#getjenniferthere) and knockout performance made her the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter, wore a black DSquared dress designed by the fashion house's twin brothers, Dean and Dan. It was four years ago at the American Music Awards that Adam Lambert announced — mostly with his crotch — that he was here for our entertainment. The artists at the 2013 AMAs could claim the same thing, but did they succeed? Results, like the genders of the people Adam grind’d with onstage, were mixed.
Katy Perry, the ubiquitous roarer, opened the show with a geisha-themed take on her new ballad “Unconditonally.” It’s funny to mock Lady Gaga for copying Madonna if only because Gaga’s self-seriousness begs for a sarcastic response, but leave it to Katy Perry to co-opt the look, feel, and senseless cultural appropriation of Madonna’s worst video. Picking a geisha theme simply because you like bright colors, which is exactly what is happening in this performance, is boring. Mystical Far East Traditionz! Oooh! Ahhh! The old, horrifying Burt Bacharach jam “Me Japanese Boy I Love You” comes to mind. »

Shake it, J.Lo! Jennifer Lopez dared to bare at the 2013 American Music Awards in L.A. on Sunday, Nov. 24. The 44-year-old singer rocked yet another skimpy bodysuit onstage during her performance tribute to Cuban salsa performer Celia Cruz. Lopez rocked three outfits during her show-stopping number at the AMAs including an ultra-revealing pale purple fringe bodysuit. The ensemble showed off her curves and flaunted her cleavage with revealing side cut-outs. Lopez accessorized the look by wearing nude sparkly fishnet stockings, and wore her hair up in [...] »
The biggest star of the night at the American Music Awards? Not Taylor and her four awards, or Rihanna's amazing mom, or Jennifer Lopez and her unstoppable tribute to Celia Cruz. That distinction goes to Miley Cyrus and her space kitten, with its deadish eyes, ably synchronized lip-synching and a (should-be) Emmy-recognized ability to cry diamonds on cue. Perched on a riser, solo with no sign of twerking teddy bears or her band of little people, Cyrus ripped into a gripping version of "Wrecking Ball" as a large, stoic kitten mouthed the words on-screen behind her.

Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre played host to an array of exciting performances and memorable events on Sunday like J.Lo's tribute to Celia Cruz, but the 2013 American Music Awards belonged to pop/country sensation Taylor Swift.
The 23-year-old songstress nabbed this year's top honors of Artist of the Year, setting an AMAs record for most individual wins in the category.
Reaping the reward of her immensely successful fourth studio album Red, Swift also took home a triad of other awards, including Favorite Country Album, Favorite Female Country Artist, and Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist.
Swift's numerous wins stole the spotlight from Rihanna, who received the inaugural Icon Award for her immense worldwide influence on pop music. The honor was presented to her by her mother, Monica Fenty.
Rihanna was nominated in two of the categories for which the "Sweeter Than Fiction" singer received awards (Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist) , but managed to swipe »
Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the American Music Awards in La on Sunday night for a special tribute to music legend Celia Cruz. She revealed three different looks for her big performance, which included a medley of Celia's hits. J Lo took the stage to show off her Spanish singing skills after spending much of the week focused on her acting career. She was on the set of The Boy Next Door, where she got a special visit from her kids, Max and Emme, between takes. J Lo skipped the AMAs red carpet, since she was participating in a promo with Kohl's that allowed fans to vote via Twitter on how she would arrive to the show. The social media stunt, which started with J Lo getting stuck in a traffic jam, helped promote J Lo's line of clothing and accessories for the brand. View Slideshow › »

Jennifer Lopez can not only change outfits onstage - twice - while singing a medley in Spanish honoring music legend Celia Cruz, but she can also get thrown into the air like a Cirque du Soleil acrobat, and still go back to "American Idol" the next day.
Jenny from the block, indeed.
We are glad she changed outfits, because we were kind of scratching our heads over the sparkly caftan.
JLo showed off her powerful vocals and colorful dance skills at the AMAs while honoring the Queen of Salsa! She combined three Celia Cruz songs for her jaw-dropping performance — and accentuated them with three outfit changes!

The 2013 American Music Awards just got more star-studded, with three new additions to the roster of performers for the show. Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and TLC will join other names like One Direction, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Imagine Dragons, who were already announced.
Perry will open the show with "Unconditionally," in support of her new album "Prism," while Lopez, who is headed back to "American Idol" for a second stint as judge on the singing competition, will perform a tribute to Celia Cruz, a Cuban salsa legend.
TLC is an interesting addition. The two surviving members are in the middle of some kind of comeback that began with their biopic airing in VH1. They are set to appear with a special guest, most likely J. Cole, who they collaborate with on the new single "Crooked Smile."
