  • (April 20, 1946) He directed William Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest", in the Stratford Theatre Festival at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford, England with Robert Harris, Joy Parker, Julian Somers, Hugh Griffith, John Harrison and Donald Sinden (as "Adrian") in the cast. Eric Crozier was the director.
  • (1984-1985 season) He was lyricist for the musical, "Albert Herring," at the Long Wharf Theatre (Mainstage) in New Haven, Connecticut. Benjamin Britten wrote the book based on the short story by Guy De Maupassant. Benjamin Britten was also composer. Henry Boys wrote the vocal score. Arvin Brown was director. Michael Yeargan was set designer. David Murin was costume designer. Ronald Wallace was lighting designer. Murry Sidlin was conductor.
