'Revenge': Who should play Emily's mom?

25 May 2012 12:05 PM, PDT | EW - Inside TV | See recent EW.com - Inside TV news »

During Wednesday’s high-octane finale of Revenge, it was revealed that Emily (Emily Van Camp) may not be alone in this world after all.

Her mother lives!

That means a new foe for Victoria will pop up in season 2. Oh, the possibilities! To whet our appetites, this is what creator Mike Kelley had to say about the new part to EW’s Tanner Stransky: “What we really want to do is find the perfect actor for the role. It would be really great for her to be as formidable as Madeleine , but it’s a completely different part. What you »

'Desperate Housewives' wraps up with happy and moving finale - Realbollywood.com News

16 May 2012 8:04 AM, PDT | RealBollywood.com | See recent RealBollywood news »

Washington, May 16: The show 'Desperate Housewives' ended high on drama where the last episode of its eighth season included a murder trial, a wedding, a birth and a death.

The finale featured Marcia Cross' Bree on trial for having murdered Gabrielle's (Eva Longoria) perverted stepfather, Alejandro, ABC News reported.

Mrs. McCluskey, played by Kathryn Joosten, succumbed to her cancer, but before that she took a stand at Bree's trial to make the claim that it was she who killed Alejandro.

Viewers have already seen Gabrielle's husband unintentionally. »

'Desperate Housewives': After that heart-wrenching finale, what's next for Mrs. McCluskey actress Kathryn Joosten?

15 May 2012 10:11 AM, PDT | EW - Inside TV | See recent EW.com - Inside TV news »

As my colleague Mandi Bierly wrote in her recap of Sunday’s series finale of ABC’s long-running soap Desperate Housewives, Kathryn Joosten’s Mrs. McCluskey “was the real heart” of the episode.

Besides possibly nabbing herself a fourth Emmy nomination (and a third win) for playing the cantankerous Wisteria Lane neighbor for eight seasons, the big question for Joosten is: Where does she go from here? EW recently sat down with the 72-year-old actress to discuss how her ending came together on Desperate Housewives; why she’ll likely never work with West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin again; her own »

Terri Hatcher Distances Herself From Castmates During Series Finale

15 May 2012 4:39 AM, PDT | ShockYa | See recent ShockYa news »

Teri Hatcher distanced herself from her ‘Desperate Housewives’ castmates, even as the series finale aired on Sunday night, the Huffington Post is reporting. Her fellow stars, including Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Vanessa Williams, said goodbye to their successful show after eight seasons, but Hatcher neglected to promote the final season with them. When the other four actresses were doing the final press for ‘Desperate Housewives,’ Hatcher didn’t show up. Since the beginning of the show, it has been reported that tension arose between Hatcher and Longoria; Hatcher began the series as one of the biggest stars, only to see her fame eclipsed by her co-star. 'Desperate Housewives' Saddened By Teri Hatcher Feud

14 May 2012 2:02 PM, PDT | Aol TV. | See recent Aol TV. news »

Sunday night saw the final episode of "Desperate Housewives," and although Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Vanessa Williams all said a fond farewell to Wisteria Lane, co-star Teri Hatcher just didn't have it in her.

“Teri excluded herself from the rest of the cast from day one,” said one of Longoria's friends. “It's so sad that four ladies decided to say goodbye to what has been an amazing, life-changing experience on a high note, while Teri hasn't. Doing the last press they will ever do for the show, the ladies stood united and were shocked when Teri simply didn't show up.”

Bad blood has apparently been circulating among the cast ever since the beginning. Hatcher began the show as one of the "biggest stars," only to see Longoria's fame increase as the series continued. But the ladies aren't letting Hatcher's behavior get to them.

‘Desperate Housewives’ Series Finale Was Way Too Depressing

14 May 2012 11:29 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

What did you think of the way 'Desperate Housewives' ended? HollywoodLife.com readers -- and myself -- were hoping for more. After spending eight years with the women of Wisteria Lane, Desperate Housewives fans figured they'd be reaching for the tissues during the show's May 13 series finale. But instead of getting the warm, satisfying ending they'd hoped for, viewers watched in disappointment as four seemingly life-long friends -- Susan (Teri Hatcher), Gaby (Eva Longoria), Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Bree (Marcia Cross) -- parted ways, never to see each other again. These women have weathered countless disasters together, both natural (hello, tornado!) and man-made (hello, all of season eight!), but they couldn't manage the occasional Skype chat? I understand that it's easy to lose touch with your friends, especially if you're scattered across the country and raising your own families, but I at least expected to see Lynette and »

Desperate Housewives Finale Proves Classically Desperate

14 May 2012 5:00 AM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Desperate Housewives is over. For longtime fans of the ABC comedy-drama, the two-hour finale flew by. The first half concluded the preposterous murder trial against Bree (Marcia Cross). It was sad to see Bree led off to the death chamber manacled and in an unflattering orange jumper. Am I kidding? As narrator Mary Alice would say: Yesssssss … The second half saw the death of one of the best-loved residents of Wisteria Lane, plus a wedding and a birth. If you're at all up on the season you know who did what of which. In other words, it was sweet, it was pat, »

Desperate Housewives: Five Memorable Moments

var brightcovevideoid = '1634281802001'; Desperate Housewives, ABC's groundbreaking dramedy, came to a close Sunday night after eight breezily entertaining seasons full of gossip, backstabbing, friendships and frenemy-ships, and many, many instances of rigor mortis setting in. ‘Desperate Housewives’ Series Finale: Death Strikes Wisteria Lane

13 May 2012 11:06 PM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Ghosts of Fairview past -- and I mean that literally -- returned to send off the women of Wisteria Lane. Were you satisfied with the ending? The two-hour series finale of Desperate Housewives somehow managed to feature every last-episode cliché in the book -- a wedding, a delivery, a trial, a death, etc. -- but in true Housewives fashion, it all worked together perfectly. Not only were we given closure with each of the women we've grown to love, but we were also reminded that there will always be drama on Wisteria Lane. We just won't see it. Karen (Kathryn Joosten) "confessed" to killing Ramon in the first hour, and considering she's about to die of cancer, the prosecution chose not to press charges. So Bree (Marcia Cross) got off scott-free, and no one got hurt -- well, except for the American justice system. That one got screwed pretty badly. »

Mother's Day Recipe: Marcia Cross's Brown Sugar Cookies

'Desperate Housewives' series finale: Eva Longoria and Vanessa Williams join Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman to reminisce

Behind the wisteria lurk the secrets, affairs and lies one admits only to closest friends. Through marriages, divorces, births, deaths -- accidental and intentional -- illnesses, triumphs, children and crimes, one bond remains indestructible: the women's friendship.

ABC's "Desperate Housewives" comes to what will undoubtedly be an over-the-top two-hour finale Sunday, May 13. Even as the actresses head into their final weeks after eight seasons, they don't know what will happen, but they respect creator Marc Cherry's cloak of secrecy. Three of the four original housewives -- Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria (Teri Hatcher declined to participate) -- and Vanessa Williams, who joined two years ago, reflect on the show in long, separate interviews with Zap2it.

No feud with 'Desperate Housewives' co-stars: Eva - Realbollywood.com News

New York, May 12: Actress Eva Longoria has rubbished reports of any feud between "Desperate Housewives" co-stars, including Teri Hatcher.

"We all get along. Everybody says that [we don't]," usmagazine.com quoted her as saying.

Reports of supposed feud started off after Hatcher's name was conspicuously left off the cards attached to the parting gifts Longoria, 37, Marcia Cross, 50, Felicity Huffman, 49, and Vanessa Williams, 49, gave to their "Desperate Housewives" colleagues, after the final episode of the show was shot.

Eva Longoria Dismisses Teri Hatcher Snub With Housewives Crew Gift

11 May 2012 12:06 PM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Eva Longoria has dismissed rumours the leading ladies of Desperate Housewives deliberately excluded Teri Hatcher from the series finale crew gift, insisting the actress has always preferred to do "her own thing".

Principal cast members Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Vanessa Williams recently rounded up some extra cash to buy the crew behind their hit TV drama carry-on luggage as a thank you gift for their hard work throughout the show's eight seasons.

According to Celebuzz.com, the specially-designed luggage tag, signed by all four women, read, "Just know that on all your future adventures you are carrying a little piece of our love and gratitude. Thank you for a magical 8 years."

However, Hatcher's name was noticeably absent from the card - and gossip bloggers were quick to pick up on the omission, suggesting rumours of a long-running feud between Hatcher and her co-stars were true.

But Latin beauty Longoria has now spoken out to silence the speculation.

During an appearance on U.S. chat show The View on Friday, she said, "She (Hatcher) always does her own crew gift, and we've always invited her. For the past couple years she's always done her own thing." »
