Celebrity Crime Beat - Two suspects have been arrested in the DJ Megatron murder case. Celebrity justice watchdogs TMZ.Com reveal the accused are identified as 20-year-old Richard Cromwell and 21-year-old William Williams.Corey McGriff (DJ Megatron) was only 32 years old and was shot and killed near his home in Staten Island on March 27. MTV News has more details on the case here and reveals "NBC New York reported that detectives believe the murder may have been a result of a robbery gone bad."TMZ reports authorities told the NY Daily News "the two men may have been after the DJ's cash and a watch that was given to him by his 11-year-old daughter." New York police arrested two men this morning in connection with the murder of “106 & Park” star, DJ Megatron . 20-year-old Richard Cromwell and 21-year-old William Williams were arrested on charges of robbery, murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The cops appear to be closing in on the truth. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering Bet host and radio personality DJ Megatron, who was gunned down a block away from his Staten Island home on March 27. William Williams, 21, and Richard Cromwell, 21, are also facing charges of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, in addition to murder. DJ Megatron, whose real name was Corey McGriff, was shot once in the chest last month while walking from his house to a nearby store, according to the NYPD. He hosted the "What's Good" segment on Bet's video countdown show 106 & Park and was a local celebrity on the hip-hop radio scene. »
