8 Movie Clips from Fame

17 September 2009 1:41 PM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Opening September 25th is the remake/reboot/reinvention of the hit 1980 movie “Fame”. The new one is similar to the original as it follows a group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts. So until then, we’ve been given 8 clips from the movie and you can watch them all after the jump:

Here’s the synopsis:

A reinvention of the original 1980 hit film, Fame follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors, and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts, a diverse, »

I enjoyed the 1980 film directed by Alan Parker and starring Irene Cara. The soundtrack became a hit, and empowered many dreamers -- young boys and girls alike!

As we told you back in August of last year, Lakeshore Entertainment is pirouetting forward with the reboot!

And today, I received all these "Fame" goodies! We have some photos, and a synopsis! Yay!

The film will be released on Sept. 25th of this year. The plot?
