Trivia (3)

Successfully sued by Adolf Hitler for copyright infringement regarding his English translation of Mein Kampf published in the United States. For decades Mr. Cranston's resume proudly included the fact that he was sued by a German dictator.

Children: sons Robert and Kim Cranston. Robert, his eldest son, was killed in a traffic accident in Los Angeles in May 1980.
