Jeannie Coyne was a talented dancer who was a long time assistant of Gene Kelly and appeared in a few of his films. Her biggest role would be to dance with Bobby Van in the "From this moment on" number from Kiss Me Kate (1953). Coyne would later become Kelly's second wife and bear him two children, but unfortunately died in 1973 of leukemia.
