Director Andrew Saullo teased fans back in December during The Horror Game Awards with the teaser trailer to the upcoming Resident Evil fan short, The Keeper’s Diary: A Biohazard Story. And now, we’re getting the full Monty with the official trailer for The Keeper’s Diary.
The trailer for The Keeper’s Diary features more shots of The Keeper (played by Charlie Kraslavsky) in various stages of zombification, as well as Jill Valentine discovering The Keeper’s room. We do get a shots of dogs (no sign of Cerberus just yet), as well as a quick shot of a Hunter (?!), The Keeper munching on a snake (!!), and Ward E. Sexton doing his iconic “Resident Evil” voice.
Inspired by the original Resident Evil and its 2002 remake, The Keeper’s Diary: A Biohazard Story is an adaptation of the diary entry of the same name found in the Spencer Mansion.

In a crowded presidential hopeful field occupied by titans like Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and "Deez Nuts," Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee is all but an afterthought as the Republican-turned-Democratic candidate hovers just above 0 percent of the vote. However, reinforcements are on the way as Conan O'Brien, Aimee Mann and Ted Leo are now leading the effort to get Chafee over that 1 percent barrier.
"I'm making it my mission tonight to help Lincoln Chafee from 0 percent all the way to 1 percent," the host said on Conan this week.

Last night’s Last Man double-header may not have had any of the fireworks or stunts we’ve seen so far in the series, but watching the characters settle into the show’s reality was certainly preferable to the crass humor we stomached last week. Much like the developing society it depicts, Last Man is starting to pay attention to the details and long-term effects of its plot points. And we finally see Phil grapple with the shittier aspects of his personality — literally. For starters, Phil’s poo-filled pool is starting to stink, and Carol is tired of shoving dryer sheets up her nostrils to cope. And that’s not the only issue in Tucson: Todd and Melissa’s relationship is far friskier than Carol and Phil’s, and the new couple scores their bedroom romps to the Fine Young Cannibals song the episode’s title references. Turned up to...

Australian producers increasingly are looking to international co-productions as one solution to the difficulty of raising finance at home.
Producers say the .soft. money available for co-pros with Canada and Europe will help to compensate for the very low minimum guarantees offered by Australian distributors.
Another advantage, they say, is the improved chances of securing marquee cast for films shot in part or completely in Canada and Europe.
. With the collapse of distribution windows, online communication, and the competitiveness of getting soft money out of Australia, producers are becoming more savvy in financing their films with global partners especially as we are telling more global, universally themed stories,. says producer Raquelle David, who is developing the futuristic thriller Lucid as a co-pro.

We've only recently begun dusting off the Best Original Song contenders section and filling it out with prospective players in the upcoming Oscar race (though the ranking is arbitrary for the moment). You can bet the wonderful "Lost Stars" from "Begin Again" will be a force, and I imagine Stephen Sondheim's original offerings for "Into the Woods" will be in play, too. But another song that deserves to be in the thick of it is "Land Ho!," Keegan DeWitt's title track from Martha Stephens and Aaron Katz's Sundance sensation. Inspired by songs like Go West's "The King of Wishful Thinking," Fine Young Cannibals' "She Drives Me Crazy" and Terence Trent D'Arby's "Wishing Well," as well as films like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," DeWitt set out to craft something that felt of another time. It's tongue-in-cheek, but it still gets at the heart of the movie,...

Here's why you don't let Sting do karaoke at your bar -- he's So Damn Good ... he ruins it for everyone else ... and to prove it, TMZ has video of his impromptu rendition of "She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals this week in Malibu.Sting grabbed the mic Wednesday night at a place called Cafe Habana, where he performed the 80s classic smack in the middle of the packed bar ... and he nailed it.

What's old is new again, but did The English Beat ever go out of style? Shout! Factory is releasing the popular '80s Brit band's entire catalog (plus previously unreleased nuggets) in a new box set, The Complete Beat, out July 10, and co-founding member Dave Wakeling took time to talk to me about the timeless sound of the band, why they broke up, his jealousy over the success of Fine Young Cannibals, and the ultimate fan concert he hopes to stage.
"The Beat finished when it was meant to. We promised each other that if it ever became incredibly hard work, or we felt like we were going through the motions, or we felt we were doing anything that we didn't want to do, [that would be it]," Wakeling, now 56, said before a recent live gig in Aspen, Co. "Sad as it was, the right thing happened, and I'm pleased because now 30 years later we only made three lps, but they're...

This weekend, Will Smith and his expensive sunglasses are taking you back in time. Back to the 1960s, for the action of "Men in Black III" and back to the late 1990s, which is when you last thought about "Men in Black."
There's been much jawing among we fanboys about the awesome looking aliens that celebrated special effects designer Rick Baker has created – and, man, they are really great fun.
But for me, the "Mib" are all about the whacked-out gadgets. Indeed, the most famous of 'em all makes our list of 9 nifty gadgets most coveted on Planet Fanboy, which, as luck would have it, happen to be written below.
9 – The Mib Neuralizer
I don't know about you, but I say a lot of stupid stuff that comes back to bite me in the ass. To co-workers, check-out clerks, heck, even to the cat – I am a walking larynx of regrettable remarks and inadvertent insults.
