Bob Cousy products
Basketball Hall of Famer Bob Cousy entered the NBA in 1950, and became the foundation of the great Boston Coltic teams of the 50's and 60's. On retiring from the Celtics in 63, Cousy accepted the job of head coach at Boston college and built it into a respected 5 time NCAA Tournament team. Cousy has co-authored 6 books about basketball history and ethics. Cousy works as a consultant in the Boston area, and is the broadcaster for all Celtic road games.

Received his undergraduate degree at the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The Sporting News First Team All-America (1950) and Second Team All-America (1949). Two-time All-Conference and All-New England (1949, 1950). Team MVP and leading scorer (1949, 1950).

NBA 25th Anniversary All-Time Team (1970), NBA 35th Anniversary All-Time Team (1980), and NBA 50th Anniversary All-Time Team (1996).
Boston College coaching record: 117-38. New England Coach of the Year (1968, 1969). Led BC to three NITs (1969 finals) and two NCAA Tournaments (1967 Eastern Regional Finals).
Head coach for the NBA Cincinnati Royals (1969-1972) and NBA Kansas City/Omaha Kings (1972-1974). He compiled a 141-209 composite record. *
