During a Bayern 3 radio interview in 1984, Al Corley confirmed his birthday as being May 22nd, but the German interviewer translated his answer into German as May 26th.

Father of three children with Jessika Cardinahl, Sophie, Ruby and Clyde. Oldest daughter Sophie has Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, it causes severe mental and physical handicaps.

Used to work the door at New York's famous Studio 54 night club.

Had an 80s pop-hit with the song "Square Rooms" in 1985, produced by Harold Faltermeyer.
