Famous in his native Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for his 'Cordic and Company' morning radio show in the 1950s and 1960s (WWSW-AM and KDKA-AM).
Regis J. Cordic, also known as Rege Cordic, was the man who replaced Bob Crane as morning DJ on CBS-owned KNX-AM in Los Angeles, when Crane left the radio station in the second season of "Hogan's Heroes" in order to concentrate all his energies on playing Colonel Hogan. "Cordic and Co.", as his show was first known in Pittsburgh, PA, was also the name Cordic used for it in Los Angeles. Cordic left the station when KNX changed its format from music to all-news, and concentrated on his own acting career.
