Join me from 6.10pm on Saturday as Tom Jones and will.i.am both face losing a pair of acts
Hello, and welcome to today's unfeasibly early The Voice liveblog. Yes, it's barely even afternoon, but The Voice has shunted itself forward to avoid a clash with Britain's Got Talent. Will this affect the acts? Will anyone be watching? Will you lot be as catastrophically drunk as you usually are? The uncertainty is killing me.
Happily, though, after last week's damp fart of an episode, we should be back on track tonight. It's another evening dedicated to Will.i.am and Tom Jones. They're the best two coaches, and they have the best performers, so I might not lose the will to live 20 minutes in this time around. You may remember that Hannah Berney and Ruth-Ann St Luce were eliminated last week, for respectively being a bit anonymous and sounding like a »

Veteran British comic Ronnie Corbett spent two nights in hospital earlier this week (begs09Apr12) after falling ill.
The 81 year old is recovering at home following a brief stint under doctors' watch after feeling unwell.
His wife Anne tells Britain's The Sun, "It was just a little blip. He wasn’t feeling right so they took him in. They (doctors) were magic.
"They did everything they could. They don’t know what it was but he’s Ok now."
The beloved funnyman was hospitalised earlier this year after he collapsed during a celebratory dinner on New Year's Day following his inclusion on Queen Elizabeth II's Honours list.
Corbett recently admitted he was left so lethargic after his stint in a clinic, he was sent to a rehab centre over fears he was depressed. »

Hold on. There's something missing. Normally, at this time of year there's some TV programme that's supposed to be heading back to the small screen. Oh, that's right – Doctor Who.
Alas, for Who fans, the wait's a bit longer, with rumours of six episodes surfacing in Autumn or Winter. But hey, never mind, you can console yourself with the much-touted weapon in the BBC's ratings armoury called The Voice. In which Lord Thomas of Jones and co attempt to find the country's best singing voice, a quest that hasn't been heard of since last December when Little Mix squealed and sobbed the water out of their bodies in The X Factor. But hold on, apparently there's a twist – in The Voice, the judges sit in these great big Star Trek swivel chairs so that they can't see the singer, and only whizz round if they like what they hear. David Walliams has paid tribute to TV stars Jimmy Carr, Miranda Hart and Rob Brydon for helping him complete his gruelling Thames swim. The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge spent eight days swimming the London river last year and revealed his TV pals were a welcome distraction from the difficult experience which left him with signs of hypothermia and a parasite called Giardia. He told The Sun newspaper: ''I won't forget being kept sane and entertained by the likes of Jimmy Carr, Miranda Hart and Rob Brydon (who had me in stitches with his matchless and almost legendary Ronnie Corbett impressions). Veteran British funnyman Ronnie Corbett was so lethargic following his hospitalisation earlier this year, doctors sent him to a rehab centre amid fears he was suffering "depression or anxiety".
The veteran British funnyman collapsed during a New Year's Day dinner as he celebrated his inclusion on Queen Elizabeth II's Honours list.
Corbett had been suffering blood pressure issues following knee surgery and was eventually released after spending five days in hospital, but the 81 year old failed to return to his normal self when he returned home, and medics sent him to The Priory clinic for a check-up.
He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "The knee operation was the start of feeling fragile. The general anaesthetic they give you for the two-hour operation can take it out of you at my age. Then, by the time they have added something for lowering blood pressure and something for this or that, after a certain amount of time you become over-medicated.
"My Gp thought I was suffering from depression or anxiety. He wanted an expert opinion, so he said: 'I'm sending you to a very nice man who knows all the medication you're on.'"
Corbett agreed to the expert consultation and was relieved when he was told he was not suffering from depression.
He adds, "After 10 minutes of chat, the psychiatrist said: 'I've got a feeling you should be sitting where I am'." »

Ronnie Corbett's daughter has described the comedian's sudden collapse on New Year's Day as "one of the most terrifying experiences" of her life. The 81-year-old Two Ronnies Star was rushed to hospital after falling ill at a dinner with his family to celebrate his Cbe. "I thought we'd lost him," 43-year-old Sophie recalled to the Daily Mail. "'I think we all thought that. It was up there as one of the most terrifying experiences for all of us, ever. "We're not ready for that. We love him hugely and we've been loved hugely by him. He likes us to feel safe. "He can't die. He's not allowed to. He's not like anyone else I know. None of us want to see our rocks vulnerable, do we?" Veteran British funnyman Ronnie Corbett was hospitalised after collapsing on New Year's Day as he celebrated his inclusion on Queen Elizabeth II's Honours list.
As 2011 drew to a close, Corbett found out he was to receive a Commander of the Order of the British Empire medal (Cbe) and he marked the accolade with a family meal.
However, Corbett fell ill during the dinner and was taken to Croydon University Hospital in south London for treatment.
His wife Anne reveals he had been suffering blood pressure issues following knee surgery.
She adds, "He was absolutely delighted to receive the honour but that has been tempered by him not feeling so well on Sunday.
"I thought he'd died. I've never been so frightened. Of course the little b**ger wanted to come home, but we said no. He's a bloody fighter."
Corbett was later transferred to a private clinic before being allowed home on 3 January, and Anne is keen for her husband to ease up his work commitments.
She says, "I think he will have to slow down a bit. He is 81 and he never stops." »
