‘The Walking Dead 7×15: Something They Need’ Review

29 March 2017 8:01 AM, PDT | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

Stars: Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan | Created by Robert Kirkman

The penultimate episode of The Walking Dead needed to set up the finale, and the oncoming war between Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) newly formed army and Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) Saviours. What we got though was something of a role reversal between the two.

With Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) captured by the Saviours, Negan surprisingly saves her and shows a different side to his character. Maggie (Lauren Cohan) has an interesting moment with Gregory (Xander Berkeley), and Rick and his group prepare to collect more weapons.

One thing that I’ve noticed about Negan is the fact he has his own version of morality. This is on show in this episode when he saves Sasha from an apparent attack from one of the saviours. »

‘The Walking Dead 7×14: The Other Side’ Review

Stars: Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan | Created by Robert Kirkman

The war is nearing and tensions are running high in The Walking Dead, so now is the time for people to do stupid things. This means of course it is time for Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) to visit the Saviours. With Rosita and Sash on their way to try to take down Negan, this is also perfect time for the Saviours to pay a visit to the Hilltop.  With Gregory (Xander Berkeley) looking to get rid of some of the annoyances in his little domain, this may put Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) in danger.

What Rosita and Sasha’s little vendetta has had so far is any real interest. It is easy to assume that it will fail, »

‘The Walking Dead 7×13: Bury Me Here’ Review

15 March 2017 5:01 AM, PDT | Blogomatic3000 | See recent Blogomatic3000 news »

Stars: Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan | Created by Robert Kirkman

The Walking Dead can be a depressing show, which seems fitting when it focuses so much around the dead and dying. We always look for that glimmer of hope though, that things will get better for the survivors. Then of course we remember, this is The Walking Dead. You almost have to be a masochist to watch this show sometimes.

When things go wrong during what should be a routine meeting between The Saviours and the Kingdom Morgan (Lennie James) has to take action. With these actions though he starts a chain of events that may see the people of the Kingdom and most importantly Carol (Melissa McBride) join in the war against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

Michael Jackson Impersonator Looks Scarily Like the Real Deal on Lifetime Movie Set

10 March 2017 1:00 PM, PST | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

An upcoming Lifetime movie will pay tribute to late music icon Michael Jackson—and if these recent on-set photos are any indication, they’ve gone the extra mile to make it realistic!

Noted Jackson impersonator Navi will make his acting debut as the King of Pop in Searching for Neverland, which has been shooting out and about in Los Angeles.

The two-hour drama, slated to air later this year, is based on the book Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days, a memoir by two of Jackson’s body guards: Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard.

‘The Walking Dead 7×12: Say Yes’ Review

When it comes to The Walking Dead, I enjoy the episodes that are more action packed. Too many times we tend to see things get bogged down in how evil Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is this week, or how tormented Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is with his choices, or who wants to get revenge this week. Sometimes though, there are some less action based episodes that do work, one of them being this weeks.

While I say less action based, this doesn’t mean that we don’t see plenty of zombie killing, because we do. More importantly though this is more of a character based episode where Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira) get to spend some relaxing time away from Alexandria, »

‘The Walking Dead 7×11: Hostiles and Calamities’ Review

Now that the second half of season 7 of The Walking Dead is in full swing, Hostiles and Calamities is returning to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to see how he is taking the latest developments in his compound. Is the episode a return to some of the more worrying stiles from the first half of the season? Read on to find out.

Taking place after the escape of Daryl (Norman Reedus) we see the aftermath, and Negan’s reaction. With Dwight (Austin Amelio) looking to be to blame, the fact his wife has also escaped piles on the pressure, which is vented in his direction with violence. ‘The Walking Dead 7×10: New Best Friends’ Review

I’m a fan of The Walking Dead, but I have many complaints about how the show often presents itself. One thing that it does well though is the slow build-up, and it does it confidently. That is why episode 10 is a good sign for season seven, as the army to take on Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) begins to form.

Having found Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group also discover a new collection of survivors who at first are aggressive. While Rick is trying to form an alliance with the new group and being tested, Daryl (Norman Reedus) meets an old friend on the outskirts of the Kingdom.

‘The Walking Dead 7×09: Rock in the Road’ Review

When it comes to The Walking Dead I find myself to be very critical of the show. While I tend to stick with it, I find there are often episodes that feature way too much dialogue only to end with a scene of action that makes sure we look forward to the episode to come. With that in mind, how did I find Rock in the Road?

Thankfully as we usually see with the mid-season premier, this is an episode where a lot happens. Now that Daryl (Norman Reedus) has returned to the group, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is ready for action. With Hilltop ready to join in the fight against the wishes of Gregory (Xander Berkeley), Jesus (Tom Payne) decides »

The Walking Dead: Jesus Talks About His Death

10 February 2017 12:19 PM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Ok friends, yes I just created the epitome of "clickbait" that has been discussed so much here lately, and if you read my work you know I basically never would mislead. But come on, let's all laugh a little. I could have waited till the end like other sites, but what he said actually relates. Stay with me here because he does have meaningful content.

In a panel, on one of those celebrity led cruises we hear so much about lately, Tom Payne (Jesus) was asked about how he felt about the way he would portray his death in the AMC show when it first comes around. Most comic fans know that, not only has he not yet perished in the books, but he is a central gladiator to the series. Jesus clearly has some level of martial arts training, he is sneaky, and has a way to avoid almost any situation. »

The Expanse Season 2 Review

2 February 2017 2:23 PM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Four episodes were provided prior to broadcast.

Adaptations live and die on two things: the quality of the parts of the source material directly adapted to screen, and the cleverness of the changes made in the transition to a new medium. In a second season that’s as thrilling as anything else currently on TV, sci-fi or otherwise, The Expanse creators Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby return with a surefooted, jaw-dropping set of sophomore season stories that are as high-quality as they are deceptively clever.

That’s the magic of The Expanse for diehard book fans (myself included): the show is loyal to the bones of Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham’s weird, wonderful, six-book-strong series of the same name, but it’s shuffling up the deck with the wit and aplomb absolutely tantamount to the creation of a great adaptation. As it stands – thanks to the four episodes sent for review, »
