Atx Television Festival Adds ‘Justified’ Farewell Panel to 2015 Lineup

Justified” will get its final farewell at the Atx Television Festival in Austin, Texas, this summer.

The annual fest has added more programming to the previously announced “Gilmore Girls,” “Queer As Folk,” “Journeyman” and “Dawson’s Creek” reunions, including panels for FX’s “Justified,” Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World,” ABC Family’s “The Fosters,” Fox’s upcoming “Wayward Pines,” USA’s “Playing House,”Comedy Central’s “Drunk History,” a premiere screening of Starz’s “Power,” and a discussion with the creator of “Friends.”

Justified” creator and exec producer Graham Yost will take an in-depth look back on his series, which stars Timothy Olyphant (pictured) and wraps this April. Cast members and additional producers are yet to be announced, though in a statement, Yost expressed his excitement “to mark the end of the series [with] the whole cast of ‘Justified'” at Atx this June.

Two Season 4 episodes of the hit HBO series will screen in IMAX theaters, followed by the world-wide debut of a trailer for the new season, beginning on Jan. 23.

The one-week engagement ends on Jan. 29. Screening and ticket info, including participating theaters, will be available in the coming days at www.imax.com.

‘Queer As Folk’ Cast to Reunite at Atx Television Festival

The Atx Television Festival will celebrate the 10th anniversary of “Queer As Folk” with a reunion panel at the gathering set for June 4-7 in Austin, Texas.

The panel will include exec producers Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman and cast members Gale Harold, Peter Paige, Robert Gant, Scott Lowell, Michelle Clunie and Thea Gill. “Queer as Folk,” a remake of a British series of the same name, ran on Showtime from 2000-2005.

“We strive for diverse and revolutionary programming, and this groundbreaking series changed the game for cable television in 2000, marking a high point not only for the Lgbt community, but for socially important storytelling,” said fest co-exec directors Caitlin McFarland and Emily Gipson.

The “Queer As Folk” panel joins the previously announced “Dawson’s Creek” writers room reunion and “Gilmore Girls” reunion, which will be held at Austin’s Paramount Theater June 5-7.

Ten years after going their separate ways, the boys from Pittsburgh are back.

The cast and writers of Showtimes’ groundbreaking series, “Queer as Folk” are returning for one-time reunion special at this year’s Atx Festival in Austin, Texas.

The award-winning show, which aired from 2000 to 2005, followed the lives of a group of gay friends and their relationships, careers, loves and ambitions.
