X-Files Season 11: Barbara Hershey Joins; Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose returning

More casting news emerged from Chris Carter’s Ten Thirteen Productions and the sets of The X-Files Season 11, now in production. Barbara Hershey joins the cast in the recurring role Erika Price, “a powerful figure who represents a mysterious organization.” Also, Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose reprise their roles from The X-Files season 10. One of sci-fi television’s most iconic female characters will be written by women in 2017. During Fox’s Television Critics Association press tour, Fox CEO Dana Walden revealed that the show’s behind-the-scenes gender diversity had improved beyond original reports.

Back to Frank Black Site Hosting Charity Auction Starting December 1st

We here at Dread Central are always in a festive mood, and with the holidays rapidly approaching, it looks like our friends at the Back to Frank Black website are also getting into the spirit with their upcoming charity auction that begins on December 1st.

The Back to Frank Black auction will be presented on eBay with many different “Millennium”-related items being auctioned through December 8th. Every cent raised from this auction will be donated to the registered charity Children of the Night, a non-profit organization that fights to get and keep children out of child prostitution.

The fine people behind Back to Frank Black have worked alongside some of the cast and crew of the TV show “Millennium” to produce unique and original items to be sold off to help this charity including:

Help Millennium become a movie

There’s a reason they’re called cult followings—and now the ultra-devoted fan base that is obsessed with Millennium is gaining momentum on a campaign to bring the Chris Carter supernatural show to the big screen. Millennium, which aired for three seasons on Fox from 1996-1999, centered on Frank Black (genre fave Lance Henriksen), an FBI profiler with the ability to see the world through the eyes of murderers, and has arguably influenced many a big-screen thriller since.
