2018 SAG Awards Red Carpet Photo Gallery
Let’s face it: is there any better reason to watch the SAG Awards than to see who walks the red carpet (Except, of course, to see who wins)? Who among the nominees and presenters turned up for the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 21 topped our best and worst dressed list? Tour through our photo gallery to see which celebs wore it best, and which wore it worst.

This year made history by having a host for the first time in its 23 year run. Kristen Bell (“The Good Place” and “Veronica Mars”) served as emcee, while an all-female group of presenters gave voice to the ongoing #MeToo movement. As was the case with the Golden Globes, the ceremony served as another opportunity to combat sexual assault and harassment in the entertainment industry. This time, however, the stars were allowed to shine in something other than all-black outfits.

The only men you will see on the stage of the Shrine Auditorium will be the winners of the five races for male actors as well as those in the casts of the winning ensembles and the nominated films.

Among the women announcing the winners of the Screen Actors Guild Awards will be: Rosanna Arquette, Halle Berry, SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, Dakota Fanning, Mandy Moore, Olivia Munn, Niecy Nash, Lupita Nyong’o, Gina Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and Kelly Marie Tran.

Will the 2018 SAG Awards Only Feature Female Presenters?

Will the 2018 SAG Awards Only Feature Female Presenters?
Are Hollywood’s leading ladies going to be completely in charge at the Screen Actors Guild Awards this year? Sort of.

In December, it was revealed that all 13 acting categories would be presented by women in response to the #MeToo movement. The announcement arrived prior to the start of the Time’s Up movement, which had a strong showing at the Golden Globes. Additionally, Kristen Bell will serve as SAG’s first-ever host.

The Guild recently added some men to its slate of presenters — but the selected few will only be on hand to introduce clips from their nominated films

‘Mudbound’: Rachel Morrison’s Cinematography Could Change Oscar History

‘Mudbound’: Rachel Morrison’s Cinematography Could Change Oscar History
With “Mudbound,” Rachel Morrison became the first female cinematographer to earn an Asc feature nomination. Her unique period look could also make her the first woman to receive an Oscar cinematography nomination. That would be special, given the subject matter of Dee Rees’ “Mudbound,” which explores the black and white the struggle for the American Dream on the Mississippi Delta of the 1940s.

And in visualizing the contrasts between the black and white family living and working on the same farm, the co-mingling of love and hate, Morrison achieved a poetic beauty that unites them. And for that, she truly deserves the Oscar nomination.

Visualizing the Racial Divide

“The power dynamic is real and that doesn’t ever quite change,” said Morrison, whose next movie is Marvel’s “Black Panther.” “It’s about the layers of different power: men over women, white over black, but, above all else, there’s

Helen Mirren's New Horror Movie Is Based on a True Story, and the Trailer Is Terrifying

Usually Helen Mirren terrifies me with just how good of an actress she is, but in Winchester, it looks like she's just plain terrifying. The legendary actress stars in the upcoming horror film, which centers around a real-life haunted house outside of San Francisco, alongside Jason Clarke and Sarah Snook. Mirren plays eccentric firearm heiress Sarah Winchester, who not only believes she's being haunted by the souls of people murdered by Winchester rifles, but also ordered that the construction on her massive house never stop - builders were there 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for decades. Is it merely the physical manifestation of one woman's madness, or something more sinister? Doctor Eric Price (Clarke) decides to find out, whether the vengeful ghosts who might live there want him to or not. Check out the latest trailer for Winchester above, before it hits theaters on Feb. 2, 2018. Teaser:
